Used but barely, in good shape. I had this as a loaner for taking friends. I bought it used. Has a little blood on it from last elk season. Will cleanup nice. No rips or tears. Has a L/XL belt and a tall/xtall frame. I believe it has the Ultra shoulder straps. Located in NW Peoria. Andy 602-881-061

Savage Ultralite 6.5 Creedmoor. Bought this from another forum member about a year ago. Shoots great. 22” barrel. I bought the same rifle in 6.5prc, keeping the prc and selling the creedmoor so it doesn’t just sit in the safe. I do not have the box but I do have the adjustable stock pieces. Rifle, 30mm rings, muzzle brake and 3 boxes of 143 ELDX - $1,300 drop to $1,100 Rifle only - $1,100 drop to $900 north phx Andy 602-881-0610

Bump, price drop to $900 -
Well it’s a relatively educated guess actually. Raffles are saturated right now and I don’t think 3 sheep raffle tags will triple the volume of raffle sales. The raffle sheep tag historically generates about $100k-150k less compared to auction tags. Similar results with deer and elk and you get to about $1,000,000 difference in total revenue. If they can sell raffles outside AZ why the heck don’t they give that a try for a year and see how it goes before cutting the auction tags? They are banking on raffle sales and this is literally the worst environment for raffles sales in a decade. I’m actually not against getting rid of auction tags but the current lack of planning and bold assumptions being made by the dept and commission make me very, very skeptical. But hey, I’m just a conservative numbers guy..

Tags fees go into the general account, so they don’t go toward habitat projects. But you knew that already…. They study purple footed guppies with the general fund money from your tag fees. My guess is there will be about a $1,000,000 loss of revenue with this decision for habitat projects per year. Putting this here to look back on in 5-10yrs.
-
For sheep, elk and deer the raffle tag raises much less money. And…. The raffle can no longer be sold outside of AZ, a recent change that will severely limit raffle sales.
-
This is from the AZGFD presentation from January.
-
That’s the problem, raffle tags don’t raise nearly as much as the auction tags….. and the commission has no concrete plan to replace the lost revenue.

LOL, I'm an ASU alum, thinking about taking a class at GCU so I have something to cheer for in March. ASU.....so bad it hurts

You guys crack me up, I literally posted a link in this topic to the projects that the money has been spent on.
-
The money is allocated to a project(s) each year. Sometimes the projects don’t get done in the year planned, in which case the money rolls to the next year. Sometimes the projects take several years to complete so the money sits until the project is finalized. Generally speaking all the money has a dedicated project and will get spent. Sometimes projects get cancelled and that money that was allocated will be used for another project.
-
Just click the link and look at the different years and where the money goes. It’s all there on the website.

No need to dig, it’s a public process that involves all of the local non profit organizations that represent wildlife in AZ in conjuction with AZGFD people from all regions and units. All the speculation about where the money goes comes from people who don’t even understand how the process works and aren’t involved. Join a wildlife organization and have some input… https://www.azgfd.com/wildlife-conservation/on-the-ground-conservation/cooperative-programs/habitat-partnership-committee/
