Heating boiling or burning the spines off is not necessary a finer filter such as a splatter screen will filter out the spines, the fresh juice is the best because the naturally occurring enzyme's are killed by high temps! Frozen concentrate is second best... No need to boil it unless making syrup or jelly!

We juiced this way a couple of times and the Mop Squeezer method is way faster - Next year we hope to have a cider press!

It is true that the studies done in the past are less accurate than the study's that could be done today! I agree.... The problem I see with this is that all the studies are done by "Wild Life Biologist's" that have hidden agendas (anti hunting)..... AZFG is bringing in UC Davis's lion study team to study AZ lion's... This is the same group that was instrumental in banning lion hunting in Californa! The members of this team are all anti hunting! So I think the more appropriate ending to your rant is LOOK OUT AZ HERE COMES CALI! Not to cause any ill feeling's .... I just think it's a shame that the AZGFD is funding this UC Davis team when we have two fine Universities in AZ that are more than capable of doing a lion study! Isn't California suing and boycotting Arizona over SB1070..... Why should we be supporting California and their anti/slanted way of management! This just another example of how AZGFD is being taken over by big government! The methods that are used to count our deer and elk in AZ are outdated..... I just can't accept the figure of 140,000 to 160,000 deer in AZ..... With 40 hunt units this comes out to 4000 deer per unit..... I believe there are many more deer than what the AZGFD "estimates" and lions! The are no current Lion population studies for AZ - The 2500 to 3000 lions figure is just a wild guess... The AZGFD admits that their figures are estimates and not actual count's. These guess's and methods are some of the reasoning for bringing UC Davis on board. So we are going from inaccurate estimates of deer and lion's to using the methods of and anti hunting organization....HMMMM The only thing I do agree with on this post is when .270 say's Houndsman like to pull ur leg and exaggerate for a laugh!

It is possible to program SD cards with code so they can only be read if you have the code! It is also possible to program SD card's to auto install a virus that will lock up any computer , unless you have the cure! It is also possible to program SD cards to install a Trojan Ping that will auto email the IP address of the computer it is read in! There are lots of sneaky thing's a good computer hack could do to his camera set ups to discourage/bust theft! Some one could do a brisk bizz custom programing along these lines! The camera companies know all this could be included in their products , they are relying on the thieving way's man to generate repeat customers!

When reporting a stolen trail cam you need a GPS coordinate of the location , take a picture (time stamped ) of the location and a map with the location marked on it. None of the county Sheriff's Dept will do any thing other than take an information report and file it in the round file (waste bin) unless there is a well defined location I.E. the map and a GPS coordinates. It also helps to have trail cameras marked/scribed with a driver's lic # or some other means of ID. And keep the reciept with the serial number written on it. All of this build's the trail of evidence so the authorities have information and evidence to investigate. Put your self in the Sheriffs boot's - Some guy is telling him he left a camera on the third tree from the big rock about 1/4 mile from the main forest road around two miles from town - Yea right Johnny Law will jump on that trail right! Investigations are driven by evidence that a crime has been committed not hillbilly hearsay! Having and posting the picture of a guy that removed a trail camera from the wood's is great. Do you have the serial# of the camera and the purchase reciept proving it was yours? If not than no investigation will probably be started! Now who ya gonna call yur daddy? Possession is 9 tenths of the law! Unfortunately it is mostly hunter's that are stealing these trail cameras! It's not gangbangers , UFO aliens or birdwatchers it's our fellow "hunters!" I think this is just a bluff if Blowcrazy had pic's and didnt post them then why bother posting at all.... I remember a post a while back I think it was called Cornbagger ... They actually did post pic's of a guy with a camera in hand leaving the wood's , I beleive this cornbagger guy is a friend of Larks' or .270's....It was fun reading that thread! This being such a recurring topic why dosn't some "CWT officianado" research the legalities of placing cameras or other hunting equipment in the forests? Why make statements unless you know what you are saying? Why not ask the National Forest Service about whats legal to set up out there? Why not ask the various County Sheriff Departments about their take on trail camera theft! I have asked these these thing's to the Authorities. That is how I came up with the suggestions I made! Hey Bowcrazy if you want to post the pic's go to you local library computers and set up a new account on here with a different name and post the pic just don't call the guy a thief! Ask if anyone knows the guy because he "removed" your camera from the wood's and you want it back! I have run up to 50 cameras in the wood's and had some stolen. To be expected - I hope you get your camera's returned!
