    Night hunting for lions!

I would strongly suggest the use of a remote caller and set up with something solid to your back with a good amount of open/visible ground around the ecaller! I don't think I want to try hand calling at night , for any thing!

    VERY DISAPPOINTED AND RATHER DISGUSTED

Every animal I have shot I have gutted out in the field, drug or caried back to camp with cape on. Took some pics and immediately started removing the hide. Stuck some blocks of ice in the cavity, slid my game bag over the carcass to keep the bugs off and keep the ice from sliding out and drove to WGP, with the exception of once going to Dickman's. If everyone rereads this post I was venting/complaining for a friend of mine that took HIS deer to someone other than WGP. Some day I would love to start butchering my own kills, until then WGP everytime. Hands down THE BEST, keep it up John. 1rst mistake is gutting it! Why do you gut a deer? Is there anything in them gut's that you want???? Cool video on watching the gutless video, not ready for that yet. Tomato, Tamato......I guess everyone is different. That is what makes the world go around. Once you try it you will never gut another! Seriously - It's much easier!

I always thought that the F&G should include skinning/field dressing/quartering of big game as requirement for big game hunting! Too many idjiots out there jut wanna pull the trigger and take hero pictures... My question to greg ciasca is how long do you leave the skin on these deer you are dropping off , and how long after the kill is it that you drop them off?? Getting the skin off quartered and the meat cooled down/in the shade/in the ice chest is the best way to get good tasting meat! Especially in warm weather! Gutting a deer leaving the skin on and taking it to the processor hours after the kill or the next day (even worse) is a recipe for a disgusting dissapointment!

+1 LARK - And I also like the way you spelled george tualman.... When some rich guy buys a governors he can write it off 100% on their tax's as a donation to whatever organization auctions that tag! Can I write off my deer or elk tag - Nope , in fact I have to pay an xtra tax on it because it's hunting related! Just another way that whitey keeps us down!
