+1 Clay does an awesome job, he did my wifes coues last year and it was timely and exceptional work. I have a 23 md tag and if i shoot a worthy one wild heritage will be getting some extra work.

We had a similar incident with Lone Eagle Taxidermy in Heber a few years back. What a mess, turned a great hunt into a terrible situation. never got the mount done, got the rack back and still paid $500. Be careful who you take your trophies to. Good luck getting yours back

My father in law has an Oct. 12b west tag and we did a scouting trip last weekend for 4 days, not 1 deer and very few tracks. When we came back we were both pretty discouraged. I need to mention that he is 67 years old and cant really hike the hills like he used to. But what I was wondering is if anyone has hunted that early hunt, what to expect and any recommendations for a jump off point for an old man? Any info would be much appreciated considering this unit is new to both of us and i'd like to make it a good one for him because you dont know how many tags are left for him. Thanks everyone.

Last year I chased around a 170-180 class 5 x 7 with my bow and I know of a 193 that came out of 23 a couple years ago, but there is a lot of land. I have the same 23 md tag and hopefully I can get it done with a rifle this year. glass glass glass ig unit and they are everywhere in the unit. good luck

good to hear about the shwackers. just bought a new bow and decided to go with them because i have had problem with the rages. BUT my wife shoots the rages awesome and killed her buck last year with one.

no fires in the last couple years in the area

yeah all three of those bucks have the spots and a different buck on the same cam is missing half of one his ears.
