It's sad I think they handled the whole situation poorly. -

I saw a porgram on tv about eastern whitetail with these warts, they also showed some elk, they are pretty rare. If I remember right I think it is a genetic thing and not contagous and doesn't bother the meat at all (don't know if I would eat it still). Much more prevelant and females or some reason. Don't quote me on any of this but it's been a while since I have seen the program.

Yeah the bigger buck was pretty neat last year with a lot of points but wouldn't score great, so I can't wait to see what he will do this year. Keep the TC pics coming guys.

We just had this conversation, they didn't work for me but seem to work well for others. Link to other conversation: http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=33618&hl= Good luck!

thats a good one, it doesn't even look real.

I used a single original band out of the package with both. Too bad I don't have the broadheads anymore, i'd look to see if there was a dent. And I understand that the blades will retract with the change in forces. All I am saying the arrows were soaking with blood and the blades looked like brand new razor blades straight out the package. I hope they work for everyone else, I am just not going to chance it again. i'm going to give the Grave diggers a shot, we'll see.

Thought I'd share some of the animals I have gotten pics of this early season, since I love seeing everyone else's pics. Keep them coming you guys I like to see some these big bucks and how they are coming along!

I know they didnt open because the arrows were soaked in dark red blood on both and the blades were still closed and completely clean. Believe me I had 3 other very expierienced hunters (one a well known outfitter) with me on the first one and all agreed it never opened. The reason I used them again in January was because I was convinced it was just a fluke but it happened again. Don't know what to tell you.

I shot a buck in August and 1 in January and neither time they opened up. I buried six of them in the woods after the second time, so if someone wants some... I will never soot them again! Sorry. I did recover the buck in Jan. luckily it blew right through his heart.

Running trail cameras throughout the summer is one of my favorite hobbies, you get to see some really neat stuff. As far as that bull, he looks like he has some more growing left to do but I don't think he will get anywhere near 400. I am hoping he might hit 350 give or take. The coues buck is a buck I have seen for a couple years now, i think, last year he was a 5x5 (12 total points) with awesome eye guards, good main beams but no tine length. I have nicknamed him stubby because last year his eye guards were about 4" and all of his other tines were only about 2 to 3". None the less he is a cool looking buck and we will see how he turns out this year.

I bought the Bear Mauler package for about 500 or 600 and love it. I was in the same boat, so I went out and shot most of the bows in my price range. The last brand I thought i'd buy was going to be a Bear but it felt like the best fit for me and most comfortable. Good Luck

Set a couple cams last week and couldn't wait to check them. So after 4 days of being out I checked the closest one. I had a bout 150 pics of whitetails and got a couple bucks with nubs that I think are two bucks I have seen running together for the last couple years. Here are a couple pics of the stubby nubs, and one of the bucks from last year. Can't wait to see what they look like this year.

It's always exciting finding the same bucks, year after year and watching them grow.

I walked up on a calf that couldn't even get up yet last week

We were supposed to have a girl but ended being a boy, but we were going to name her Reagan. If you go with that name I have a custom bathroom stool with the name on it you can have. Congrats!

Thats AWESOME!

The arrow and the rest of the broadhead were saturated in blood but when I pulled the arrow out of the tree and opened the blades up they were clean. So I would say the blades never opened.

Well this has been driving me crazy since August, I shot a decent 3x3 mule deer in 22n where mule deer aren't really seen that often. I smoked right through him at 29 yards but he turned away and took off so never got to see where I hit him. I had to rush getting out of the blind a little bit due to a storm coming in and didn't want to loose the blood trail. At first there was pretty good blood then it tapered off quite a bit, then it started to rain. After a short light down fall the sparse blood trail was impossible to follow, then my friend helping me track told me to go look at my broadhead. Ok what? it was stuck in a tree directly behind where the deer was standing and saturated in blood. He says look at your broadhead. Then I noticed, I was shooting scwackers this year for the first time and the expansion blades never opened. When I pulled the arrow out of the tree it had blood all over it and the broadhead but not the blades and they were still folded in. I spent about 3 days looking for the deer and ravens but no luck and I have had trail cams all over the area and no sign of him. SOOOO..... what I was wondering if anyone found or knows of anyone finding a dead mule deer this hunting season in 22n. I have many trail cam pics of the deer if anyone might know anything. Thanks everyone it would just be a huge unanswered question off my mind if i could ever find out.
