Sorry to hear that. The same thing happened to me a couple years ago except it was 2 quads, I couldn't see them but they turn the quads off and 3 minutes later they took off. Blood trail ended with a big puddle and nothing else.

Here are SOME of the bucks from this year on our hit list, not all are big but meat in the freezer. AND I'm NOT HUNTING!

Both are definately nice bucks but it's the first time I have gotten them on cam, so hopefully its not a fluke.

Typical Libs, if I don't like it get rid of it! If you don't like it don't do it. i don't care for people shooting game at a 1000 yards but I would never tell another sportsman how hunting should be done. I just don't do it and stand by the sportmen as long as it is a legal method. Every ban/restriction passed, one less freedom we have as Americans. What's next???

+1 every deer is different, I had a deer that doesn't loose his horns until August/ September. I have a deer that grows real fast early then stops growing after the first week of August. I wouldn't pass a deer for a couple inches.

I have hunt 9 for deer and elk for years and like cousefan said there is a lack of deer but there is a good possibility of a bomber there. I have seen many 30+"ers in the unit but far and few between. Good luck, I will be up there with my father in law during that hunt, trying to do the same thing.

That first buck is going to be a real good buck. The second is about the size of a buck I have on cam this year and have seen for the last couple, he was a 100"er last year. Lookin good, good luck!

It's getting closer day by day, I already shot my deer for the year, so hopefully the wife can stick one of the bucks and i can go out for bear and turkey.

It is the same buck, just no droptine this year. i have had him on tc the last 3 years with hundreds of pics but can't ever catch up with him. I think he is old and on his way down, probably would have scored the best 2 years ago. Good eye.
