I got a Hit on the Credit card for 228. so i just called the GF. they said the results aren't even in their data base and it may be another week before results are out!!!!! Guess ill have to wait to see what unit i drew... but its 2 bull tags for sure!!!!! ANd only my second time applying for it!!

Can't you find out if you got drawn if you used a credit card??? i heard that if you applied online with a credit card, one way you can find out if you got drawn is if a transaction for 114$ was made. the game and fish said that when you apply for the draw online they will not charge your card unless drawn. that way you don't have to spend the money and then they refund you back. so for those of you who aplied online and was charged on your card, you have been drawn for a tag.....Correct??

Hey guys got my rifle hunt coming up in 36a this Friday. The thing is I don't have a range finder. Hoping to get one but doesn't look like I'll get it in time. I've herd people go with out them so my question is it critical to take a range finder when rifle hunting?

Hey everyone. I got my first kill ever and to tip it off it was a bear. And to make it even better it was with a bow at 20 yards. I want to say thanks to everyone ( and you know who you are) who helped me make a dream of mine come true. I'll post the story and pics later

Ok so I am having trouble uploading the pics. But here is the story. My brother and u went out Friday and sat at two different blinds all day long. Talk about a long day. On our way home he got a blown out tire. I didn't think we were going to be able to ever make it back out there. But as it turns out we were lucky enough to hit it hard on saturday. This time we both sat at a waterhole where we have been getting bears on camera. We waited there for 6 hours and I called and did what I could to bring the bears in. Nothing happened and we both where getting restless. So I told him let's hit the lower ground to hint deer. On our way down I told him to let's stop and try to call one more time just for a couple mins. So we sat in a rock in the open with no cover at all. I called for five mundane heard a nose that I was use to. ( squirrels rustling up the leaves. I turned as my brother says "it a bear." my heart started racing but not so much because I told my brother "hey goahead and you take the shot." so I call her in to about twenty yards. I say about because the range finder wasn't working. So I tell him " twenty yards behind the shoulder... Go" he let's of the shot but to my surprise misses because he was resting his cam on a rock and it threw him off. The bear flinched but was still interested in the call so I said it was my turn. I took am and guessed a twenty yard shot. It was a oneshot kill for me right behind the shoulder. She only went about 60 yards and piled up under a tree within 15 mins. Boy was I happy to get an az bear. she wasn't thee biggest bear out there but for a person new to the sport I'm super happy with my Az Black bear. trophy

Got a spot where the bears are coming in every other day or so. Just went up there Saturday and found alot of fresh scat too much for just one bear. What do you all tujnk my chances are for taking a bear right there and what should be a tactic I should use to make sure I get them put down?

Hey everyone. I'm pumped up for this up coming bow season and I'm sure you are too. But what really gets my blood pumpin is pics of a nice buck. So let's see what some of you guys might be after or have gotten over the last few years aLond with a short story maybe and let's get everyone pumped up for Aug 19th.

I was checking out videos on YouTube. Saw the first bear taken this season it's under Arizona black bear hunt 8/5/11 looks like a nice bear is that the usual size of bears or is it a little on the small side?

I have a friend who too their bear to chucks and it's been there for 4 years and still isn't done

Hey guys, I found this. Thing called " Dead On Rangefinder". It's attached to your sights and you are suppose to be able to range your deer with this tool at full draw. It's purpose is to eliminate movement and the time it takes to range an animal with an actual rangefinder. So my question is has anyone out there used this or something similar to it??? And what are your thoughts on this tool and the methodology it uses?

Hey guys I'm fairly new to hunting bears and have only tried it once. This fall season I would love to take down a big bear. I don't have dogs nor re money for a guide. And was thinking about glassing or sitting a waterhole. Can any of you bear hunters out there help me. I just want to get one bear. Where should I start. Being that all areas are closed due to the fires, is it to late to scout? I need all the help I can get please can some one help. Also, is there alot of bears in the Sana Ritas. Or should I try elsewhere? Thanks

Wow those are some nice bears! I might have to try unit 22 one day. Are most bears found above the rim or below it?
