22N has some good bulls in it. I hunted it las year with a bow and came across acouple bulls. unfortunatlly i couldn't lay one down. Good luck!

Saw this deer while working here in Tucson. It got my bones shaking for August. There was another buck with him already 2x his size. Anyone else got pics of deer growth from this year?

Out bear hunting with an electronic predator call using the baby fawn call while 2 other hunters started walking my way. They knew I was in the area but not my exact location. I don't think they ever heard an electronic call be for. So I started playing games with them. As they she i treated by the noise they started walking closer. So I paused it and they stopped and stood still till I started it again. I was having a blast tricking them and every time I paused it they would stop and wait. I finally paused it for about 10 mins and they didn't move a muscle. I think they actually thought they where coming upon something good. Little did they that when they got to the ten yard mark I was going to switch the call to an angry mt. Lion roar. So at ten yards I let out the roar and they both jumped out of thier skin. Shortly realizing that it was a call they spotted me waved and walked away. Boy did I have a good laugh.

checked out the cams this weekend. Got alot of bears passing by. This black bear is by far the biggest one. how big do you think it is?

+1 Totally in agreement. What do you think? Any more pictures of that bear? Judging by the time and looking at the entire body, I'm going to say that is the actual color/lightness of the bear.

That first bear is awesome. Do you think the sun reflecting off it is making it look lighter, or do you think that's its true color?

Has anyone hunted the march-may season for bears? Are they even out of hibernation and if so what is a good method to hunt them during that time of year??

a guy i know that went bear hunting opening weekend, saw a bear but was over 2 miles. the next day did some calling and instead of calling in a bear he called in a lion and shot it with his bow at 25 yards. very impressive, non the less the bears are up and moving around now.
