Thought I would share the is a buck I glassed up this a.m....not too bad for desert dwelling carp deer...looking forward to archery season even though I have a coues tag...I may have to switch teams

Definitely, a nice buck especially for the desert...I am going to try lay the smack down on him. I have never killed a mulie even remotely close to his size...was going to try and hunt him friday, but have to go to Utah for a week to chase his cousins...Guess he will just have another week to grow It would be awesome two arrow two mulies in a week or so...we will see

Went out scouting this weekend...I came across these two bucks driving around...they were a long ways away but I took some pics through my binos and the pictures aren't great...How big are they? #1 #2

Just bought some last month...they are super light, lots of support...have only been a few miles in them so far but they are probably the best feeling pair of boots I have ever put on.

I agree with you 100%...I think the majority of the illegals whether they are just coming to work or smuggling drugs DON'T want to be caught or seek trouble Usually they scatter...Knock on wood I have never had a problem when I have crossed paths with them...guess there is always that chance...but then again when isn't there a chance something could happen wherever I go?...I am aware but not scared...I am armed and dangerous too and will protect myself whenever or wherever I am...I have given them water before but I also call the BP every time I see illegal activity...Guess in a small way a few weeks out of the year I feel like I can help with the problem.

I have a total of 3 days of turkey hunting experience under my belt...I have a 3C tag and one weekend left...obviously can't kill one sittin on the couch but was wondering if anyone knew if they were still gobbling or are they done?

There is a reason there are so many left over tags in this unit...its not easy...However there are great bucks to be found where ever you go in the unit...I too hunt this unit at least once every year...COOSEFAN nailed it couldn't have said it better...so be patient and hunt your butt off...here are a few more bucks...Good luck on your hunt And there is ALOT of this crap going on down there this time of the year so BE CAREFULL!! and dont mess around with the guys packin dope...

Sounds like you pretty much nailed it...but dont forget bullets and the camera

I would say both those bucks are in the mid to upper 80" range...The ears are a good tool to use...The average bucks ears have a about a 6" opening...or 7 1/2" from tip to base...and around a 16" spread.

I would say Patients...being a little lucky never hurts either

Well after dealing with THOUSANDS of pictures of cows knockin my cameras around, cards formated wrong, dead batteries, blowing limbs and grass and with a memory card properly inserted...I finally got some fuzzy horns and spots on camera This was my favorite.. And glassed up this fairy large 2 point still up feeding in the wide open at 9:30 a.m...

Well stated and I agree...I just want to know why people are jealous or think it is unfair? Its America folks! These tags are sold at public auction and EVERYBODY has the right and opportunity to bid on them...if you can afford it is not the issue...just saying where there is a will there is a way and if someone thought it was important enough or wanted it bad enough they would make it happen...no need to be jealous of the ones who do make it happen!
