Ruger Precision vs X bolt long range

Well I ended up with an x bolt long range hells Canyon. Love this gun and I have not even shot it. Light, comfortable, and solid. I handled the Ruger and it was heavy. I am a backpacker at times and I need something I can pack around. Will post up a review of the gun once the vortex comes in. Shout out to optics planet and vortex. 40% off for first responders no questions asked. Ordered the new vortex viper pst gen 2. Great job again vortex and taking care of our first responders and military-this is fantastic!

Ruger Precision vs X bolt long range

Looking for personal reviews on these two rifles. Looking at purchasing one in a 6.5 Creedmoor. I am want to hunt both medium and long ranges with it. If you had the cash in hand, what would you buy? Browning x bolt heck’s Canyon long range or ruger precision? This will be both a range gun and hunting rig.

Ruger Precision vs X bolt long range

Nice buck! My dad was up there hunting with some family and see some quality bucks. Tell me about your x bolt. What’s you thoughts on it? I have heard it does great at longer ranges depending on the shooter. Has this been your experience?

Ruger Precision vs X bolt long range

I agree. I have to pick wisely. Closest browning in long range is at Cabela’s in Phoenix. 3.5 hour drive for me. The rugers are heavy. Held on a couple days ago. Surprised at the weight actually and wondering what it would be like hiking with that dude

Fire Restrictions Coming to an End!

**UPDATE** THIS AFFECTS NAVAJO AND APACHE COUNTIES AND FORESTS Holbrook, AZ – Navajo County, as well as partnering counties, cities, towns and National Forests, will jointly lift fire restrictions throughout the region today at 3 p.m. State Forestry will be lifting all restrictions tomorrow morning, and the Fort Apache Agency will be returning to Stage 1 Restrictions tomorrow as well. For a full list of restrictions, visit www.firerestrictions.us. The arrival of seasonal storms has saturated the region and lowered fire risks to a moderate level. “We are confident this is the right time to lift fire restrictions,” Navajo County Emergency Manager Catrina Jenkins said. “We have enough moisture and saturation throughout the forest to help manage any potential fire threat.”

    Black and White GSP litter

I will be heading to pickup a pup out of a litter from Texas at the end of August. If anyone is looking to pickup a well bred pup, Jon still has more from this litter available. I can pickup a pup for you and split travel cost if interested. At least get it to northern AZ saving you travel time. Here is the litter info https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=481027605642594&id=480572085688146&_rdr Pedigree https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/fr/cp0/e15/q65/34561827_1563186393792793_5757602173676421120_o.jpg?_nc_cat=0&efg=eyJpIjoidCJ9&oh=13c6f3fd98d5b987d5a2ed6d228368ae&oe=5BCBFF94

Fire Restrictions Coming to an End!

The white mountain fire restriction group meets on mondays each week to discuss the health and status of the forest and communities. Yesterday’s email stated no change so far due to sparse rain received. I agree that it’s coming soon. Better to hold off for a bit and not take any chances is my $0.02

    Help Sighting in!!

Yep. Pull that 20MOA base off and throw on a flat base. This is of course you are bottomed out on your elevation dial. I had a rifle that I had to put only flat bases on for this reason
