I didn’t think you could be offended by anything, let alone a finger. I’m sure it will get removed by the mods once they notice. Or they are leaving it so everyone see’s who is who.
-
Not much at all.
-
Agree, until it gets to the point moderators have to start deleting content. I wish they wouldn’t delete it and let everyone see who is who.

Think they all got tired of drunk tirades, probably why Amanda hasn’t been around too. To bad, I miss the stories and the stick. 😁

Very cool! Love history especially when it deals with family members.

Good question

Well he!l, az300wby must have worn himself out. Either that or the meds kicked in. Oh well, I’m sure he’ll be back in the morning. Hopefully with a clearer mind.

Completely agree, they don’t care what the majority of other hunters think of the m which is the problem. They give the rest of the guide services a bad rap which is who I would think should be the most upset. But money talks and the rest of us walk. Just gives a black eye to the hunting community period and ammunition for the anti’s.

Here, I’ll do it for him. G&F only controls the game in the state not the land nor what people do on the land. Therefore they can’t ban cameras on public land, only regulate the “taking” of game. They will have to prove the camera aided in the take after the fact. Going to be hard to prove. Im actually surprised the anti cam people have not pushed this through the forest service. Oops did I let the cat out of the proverbial bag....

I agree with this but it would go a long way if they would just publish it. I would think guide services would push for this as it would help alleviate some of the “greed” animosity toward guides.
-
This is what we are told all the time. It would help if the money was transparent and for the public to see exactly where this money goes.
-
Oh ya, you’re right it would be sad if I charged friends and family, that would make me a guide. Then I’d be doing it for greed and ego, kinda like what you do.
-
I keep hearing the tired ol it’s not as profitable as you think dribble. Please spare me the “I do it because I love doing it.” If that was the case you would do it for free. You guides act like you are giving your first born up in order guide. No one is buying it. Sure your friends tell you they agree and how tough it is for you but even they know your full of sh!t.

I’m a troll? Nice try. I’ve been a member for almost ten years. I don’t guide. I’ve helped lots of friends and family members on hunts but not for money. Your lying to yourself if you say it’s not for the money otherwise you’d do it for free. It’s always about the money and the tips. Now I know your paper thin. My favorite rifle is my 300wby and now I want to sell it.....

You hunt harder because of the pressure of being paid tons of money. Honestly

Strange topic. It’s relative and subjective.

Yes, unfortunately over the years, the bad ones for me were all guides. Not the bosses but their minions who think they have something to prove. A few of them were a flinch away from violence sadly to say.
-
What I have seen is there are some good guides, mostly smaller operations and there a some terrible guides. A lot of the terrible ones are big high dollar operations. They may or may not have good people running them but they have lots of “workers” who give them a bad name. These workers are the types of guys who will put hundreds of cams out in one unit trying to impress their boss. Then to make matters worse they brag about the number of cameras and what they have on them. Regular Joe’s hear about this and of course are pissed. You guides need to do better jobs at filtering your applications for workers. When you have someone on your payroll doing things which make your business look bad, get rid of them. You can honestly sit back and say you have never had someone working for or helping you that is a shady dude. Or at least does things that pissed off other hunters. If you decide to keep them on board, you deserve the black eye they give you. Im not saying your guide service does this I’m just trying to enlighten you as to why guides get bad names. You probably already know this but a lot do not or don’t care. I personally don’t care what happens with this cam ban. I hate to see freedoms taken but over the years I have seen so many things in the hunting field stripped away, it’s the new norm. Y’all can have at it and keep tearing each other apart over it. In my opinion, guides and their overzealous craving for money and fame have created a monstrosity out of old fashioned hunting. I personally hope game and fish continues and starts banning long range rifles, range finders and optics. You all are just asking for it.

I thought this was another worthless fishing report. It was worse
-
Why I put in yesterday. I did the same thing a few years ago.
-
“Quoted” fixed it for you, wouldn’t want the grammar police to get you. 😁
-
You would have to ban all hunting. Hunters get into conflicts in the field, who’s sitting a water tank, who’s stand is it, who shot first, this is my spot! Sounds like game and fish should ban hunting if this is the logic.
-
Actually no I don’t wish. I’m actually against the trail camera ban, however I don’t see how this stops them from starting over using different language. I think you’re assuming everyone is against you and your attempt to stop this rule change. You need not alienate people who might be on your side.
-
It appears this is requesting the item be dropped due to the verbiage used to request the rule change. How does this stop them from starting over using the verbiage “fair chase”? This may only delay it.

With the amount of money they are making from app fees, they can afford it.
