Sweet! Who cares if he had more to grow, get em when you have the legal opportunity! Trust me I have played that game and waited hoping the buck I was chasing would "finish" and I'd get him on the last week of the hunt or in December when he was hard horned. Problem was he disappeared a week into the August hunt. I finally got the buck on camera again this year and trust me I will shot him the first opportunity I get this time.

My dad was drawn for muzzleloader bull. I will be busy helping family again this year.

My daughter has taken her 5th Turkey and the last four years she has done so on opening morning. Had a great time even though the weather sucked. Also took a young man who has never hunted big game on his first ever hunt. He was able to take a big tom on Saturday. I think he is hooked for life and wants to put in for deer.

TRKHNTR- Oh she isn't the person I was referring to regarding putting in for deer. That young man is a friend of the family and had never hunted before. My daughter has taken four deer one of them being with a bow. Her mule deer from last year won her first place in the weight division of our local big buck contest. She is quit the huntress. One lucky guy YEARS from now is going to owe me big time for raising his wife right.

Bonecollector777 I guess it did go over my head. I assume the joke was reference me not knowing what I was doing when I tried to attach the pictures of the mount to the post. However that has nothing to do with a camera and everything to do with not knowing what I'm doing with a computer. So I think the joke actually fell on it's face......

Don't get the insert camera joke? I never scored him because the guy that killed him never asked. He took this buck with a bow and no it was from about ten yards. I didn't ask what unit he killed it in and I don't care, that is his business. Plus even if I knew what unit I don't think giving out peoples honey holes would make me very popular. This is a very nice archery buck. I just enjoyed getting to do the taxidermy. It is very relaxing and rewarding.

My 16 year old daughter drew a Jr cow tag. Last time she had this tag was six years ago and she was just a little inexperienced. Looking forward to an amazing hunt.

Daughter drew a Jr cow tag. She drew it at age ten and hasn't drew it since. She is 16 now and much better with a rifle so she has a great chance of filling the tag. She is 16 and has harvested four deer, one with a bow, javilina with a bow and four turkeys. I text her at school and she is stoked! I put in with a check so I'm still holding out hope I drew an archery bull tag.............

Oh it's real. My brother and brother in law have been hit also. I put in with check so will have to wait but I know I will be out there helping at least.
