There are three deer in that pick. I couldn't stand it anymore and had to tell you all. The third deer you can see by looking between the antlers of the big buck. You can just make out his eye and his forked antler. you can see its hind end just above the big bucks nose. Can you see it now???

I just finished a paper for my wildlife management class about white-tailed deer. There are 17 different recognized subspecies of white-tailed deer in North America not including Mexico!!!! I think there were 38 or 39 subspecies all together. If you want to read some info for yourself and see the distribution maps the title of the book was "White-tailed deer: Ecology and Management". the section was "origin classification and distribution of the white-tailed deer". pages 1-18. Just some cool information that is out there in the literature.

Littlebear and I headed to make sure my cam didn't get stolen with all the hunters running about. It was still there with pics of this lion on it. Hiked around later and found FOUR RACKS!!!! Here is a pic of the lion and three of the racks the other was small forky we found on the way out. I think we will be taking the hounds into this spot....

Curb between my neighbor and my house in the alley. didn't know those alley cats got so large!!!! amazing what can be found in the back yard. JK Its a spring with a concrete tank...

My father got this hog on the ol' cam and figured you-all would like to see a real deer. he said something like "all your coues combined wouldn't even add up to the total antler on this buck." Thing is he is still coming down here in December to hunt Coues with me. Anyway enjoy. Becker

Headed out with littlebear after he rounded up his hounds and checked the cam. Got more pics of this guy and still can't beleive how fat he looks. Anyone want to compete with belly girth on this guy Should make some nice steaks....

JAVELINA THAT IS...... Littlebear and I took are usual tuesday run to the hills. Got pics of this monster javelina and this nice buck. Also managed to find a couple nice sheds.....Can't wait till December to get the ol' bow out.

On the 19th saw a 80 incher that had already rubbed. So hopefully the pics will start showing some shinny antlers.

I would have to disagree with Mr. Payne on this one. With the body condition and skull structure on that buck I would say that he is just getting into his prime. A good mature buck with a great looking future on littlebear's wall. since he definately has "bowhunting skills"...

I do the same. I put the extending lense right in the eye cup for the binos. (Keeps glare out)

HAHAHA Very Funny Littlebear. If anyone wants to get a coati just call Littlebear. He is becoming a professional coati guide LOL 25-06, There were three sheds all in about a 20 foot square. Those two in the pic and then a little forky.

Went out with littlebear and the dogs yesterday to check cams and chase game. Found these sheds on the way to the cam

Good luck with those mule deer. I have had little and mostly no success on getting them to use the salt. Just wanted to let you know not to get hopes up.

Hey all, The Wildlife Society and perhaps the Fisheries Society at the U of A are trying to plan a clean up out there on Redington Road. I don't think I have to explain to those that drive out that way the junk and trash people are leaving at those shooting stops. Anyway if it happens I was wondering if any of you members would be interested in joining in and helping out? I will post more info about when and where when it becomes available. Thanks, Becker
