No, I unfortunatly do not reload and will be unable to start. I am going to stick with factory ammo. Its too expensive to just pick up a box of everything and try it, but I will definitly buy a box of the accubonds and see how they fly. Thanks to everyone for the opinions.

Mathews DXT 28”, set at 70 lbs. Includes bow, Hi-Tek custom DXT string stop, G5 peep, Limbsavers & Mathews harmonic stabilizer. The bow has been expertly super tuned by BowXperts (all paperwork included from them incuding mapping, draw curve, chrono, site in info, pin gap, KE, paper tune, etc). I can include the arrows that were set up for it as well if interested (Carbon Force). I bought this bow earlier this year used as a backup. Finances will not allow it at this time. The bow is in good shape, showing a little wear on the rubber factory string suppressors and has the front stabilizer fitting removed for larger diameter stabilizers. $650 TYD. Thanks for looking.

My buddy has one and it became his favorite rifle/caliber. He shoots a 139 grain bullet and has taken a bull elk at 399 yards, mule deer at 250 yards and a coues at 300 yards, all 1 shot. He praises it.

I would be real interested in the Jeep if we were closer. Bummer!

I was told by a friend hunting a border unit that it is not happening yet (5 days ago), but a bit farther north it is going pretty well.

Here is the cool thing, there are a lot of great bows being made by several companies these days. I shot most of the new 2009 bows last year and was real impressed with the quality from multiple bow makers. Its not a 2 company show anymore! For your final decision, you really should shoot the bows and decide what feels best. Small differences in each bow will probably make a final decisoin easier. 2010 comes with good bows. Although various combinations of sped and smoothness exist, consider if you want speed mostly or smooth draw. For speed, look at the PSE Omen, PSE Dreamseason UF XForce, Mathews Monster or Bowtech Destroyer 350. For smooth shooters, I liked the Mathews DXT, Mathews Z7, PSE Bowmadness, Vendetta or Ace. If you still can't decide after shooting, consider if you want a shorter or longer bow (ATA) and consider if the brace height matters to you. Some say both these specs affect accuracy and forgiveness, but I don't think its been proven, more of an individuals shooting style. Good luck and have fun making the decision.

From my experiences, the market for those is slim. I have found a few over the years and can't get much for them. From what I hear from others, its all about finding the few people out there that want them. Maybe check with small town trading posts. That's where I had some interest. I leave them as they lay now!

Consider the Boqillas Ranch. Go west of Seligamn on Rt. 66 and take the dirt road at Pica Camp and follow it on top of the Aubrey Cliffs. Lots of country from there that had cows a couple weeks ago including Keseha area.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a taxidermist that mounts sheds and antlers to replica skulls. I have heard of a few that use eastern whitetail replica skulls and it just isn't the same. Please let me know if you know anyone. Thanks.

Pretty interesting. I am by far no expert, nut have seen wolves in eastern AZ and Idaho and I think that is not one. The body structure seems different. I will be interested what G&F tells you.

Both calibers are good IMO and the guns you are looking at are as well. The 300 is becoming pretty popular in my hunting circles these days, but I would give my choice to the 7mm. I have one and love it for coues deer, mule deer and elk. Different grains avaiable for different game. I was once told mine was over kill for a deer, but after several success with the caliber I think it is the best choice out there for an all around rifle and really great on deer.

I am wandering if anyone uses the Outdoormsmans medium tripod for a Swarovski 60mm spotting scope and sitting height. I wonder if it is to heavy to keep the wind from shaking it?

My personal opinion is go with the 7mag because it has the extra oomf. Nothing wrong with the 243, just not the bestetr choice in my opinion. I also have both and don'ty hesitate on the choice.

I hunted that unit years ago by myself and had my truck broken in to, camp raided and saw a group smuggling drugs. It was the worst hunting experience of my life. I hope no one has to experience that. Have a good hunt and be safe, always be alert to what's around you.
