Been using the Nimrod system on my 8.5x42 for years, very comfortable.

I bought a 12x14 Davis wall tent back in 1992, used it on countless trips from summer camping to season long archery elk hunts to late season deer and elk hunts and have never had one problem with it, it fits over the internal frame perfect, great tent! Also bought two of the fat boy cots, solid cot, they just take a little more time to set up & take down. You cant go wrong with Davis tents.

Congratulations to Grizz and the crew, when I was reading the forth paragraph it sounded all to familiar, I was the guy driving the white Ford SuperDuty with a friend who's Daughter had the tag that stopped & talked to you guys on the way back to your truck about the two hunters that drove in on top of us. Our hunt turned out great as well, she got a nice heavy 7x7,I hope they post up some pictures. Again congrat's to you guy's, I'm glad to see you got a nice bull.

Coach, I sent you an e-mail.

Thats the kind of story I like! Congratulations Sam on a great bull.

Jim, out to 500 yds. both caliber's will do more than what you need. I want to let eveyone know that Jim Hartsock who owns Southwest Wildlife Taxidermy did a lifesize mount on my Bighorn Sheep and turned out perfect. I have and do recommend him far all your Taxidermy work. he is a Good guy to work with. Kendall

Congratulations Kade for making the shot, great picture's. If that 300 ultra did'nt have a brake, Kade will be playing in the NFL someday! Kade, if your reading this, dont forget to thank your dad for taking you hunting.

That's a great price! perfect size for spot & stalk bowhunting. If you have ever wanted a pair of Swarovski's, you should really think about these. I have never had a problem with any Swarovski optics.

I agree 100% with coues7, good post. this is a classic example of too much goverment control.the sad part is, the "Blame Game" will played with no real winner. Changes need to be made, haven't we been "burned" enough? Kendall

Great post. Thanks

Glassm'up , I'm like you, I cant get away from this post. It's blows my mind that someone call's out a good guy that I'm sure he does not even know. Alan Hamberlin is a solid guy. Kendall

Jed, Great bull.I always enjoy your post. Kendall

Lee, Alan Hamberlin is not a bad guy. he has donated more money to wildlife than most of us will ever do, just because he bought a tag that is high dollar, does that make him a sob? that is the last thing Alan is. Congrats Alan on a great bull. Kendall

Great video as always, Jed. also congrats to Russ for making it happen. Kendall

I've got two canvas wall tents. Davis tent,12x14 with internal frame. I bought it in 1996 and have used 4 to 5 times a year. second tent is a Dave Ellis tent, 15x17 with internal frame. bought it in 2001 and have used it 3 to 5 times a year. both are 10 ounce sunforger canvas, never had any problem with stitching, leakage. both tents fit over the frames perfect. both company's have great web sites. hope this helps ya. good luck.

Kennyazman, Go with your gut feeling on which broadheads you like. the Magnus Stinger is a great broadhead. I've been bowhunting for 25 years and what type of broadheads are the best is like asking anyone 'whats the best bow, optic, truck 'ect. when I started out everyone @ Fiesta Archery was shooting Rocky Mtn.Razor. good head but thin blades, and they would break, went to Thunderheads, 125 gr. worked very well, have shot my fair share and have never had a tip or blade break. I know Rage Broadheads sure have some big names behind them. like I always tell myself, DONT PANIC, HIT EM IN THE BOILER ROOM AND PRAY FOR A GOOD BLOOD TRAIL. just my humble two cents. your going to have a great Aug & Sept. two great tags, good luck.
-
Great post, solid advice! tune your bow to shoot a "bullet" hole thru paper is the key to getting any fixed broadhead ( or any broadhead) to shoot well. pick a spot!

sweet post i like it
