Hello all, I'm looking to sell this Savage action. It's an older model flat-back, long action, mag bolt face with a standard trigger. The bluing is a bit worn but has no rust. Trigger breaks clean at 3.5lbs. I picked it up originally for a project, had the money put together to buy the rest of the parts but ended up using it to fix the clutch in the wife's car. I've kinda lost interest in the project since then. Looking to get $200 for it. Thanks for looking.

That was an awesome vid. Congratulations on the trad kill. I hope to get my first javi with my recurve this year. I only missed 3 shots last year before I broke down and used the compound.

ATTENTION Glassers, Sheep Hunters, interested helpers!

I wish I could lend a hand but I'm broke and out of vacation days right now. I would love to be a part of a hunt like this. I've been following his hunt on the hunt talk site, I hope his luck changes before time runs out. -
You guys are on fire, congratulations on the great bucks and family memories.

257 mag reloading ...???
dalbo413 replied to lionhunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
My gun likes 73.5 grains of H1000, 110gn Accubond, Fed 215 primer and a 3.25" COL. -
I have a stalled project action I may be willing to part with for 200. It's a flat back 110 action, mag bolthead, factory trigger, lug and barrel nut. Bluing is about 70%.

Who's ready for Friday Oct. 25th?
dalbo413 replied to flatline's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I have to work all day Friday so I'm heading down to 35B Saturday. Good luck everyone. -
I had a similar problem with my .257 Wby. brass after 2 firings. I was one step away from buying that Larry Willis collet die. I ended up buying a Redding body die that sized the section of brass forward of the belt better than my RCBS FL die did. By the time I purchased the body and a neck sizing dies I was getting pretty close to the cost of the Larry Willis die. I would try polishing the chamber and if that doesn't work, try the new die.

Powder & Primers - We've Got 'Em - Always Ask About What's in the Warehouse
dalbo413 replied to Healy Arms's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
You guys have a great shop! Lots of stuff in stock, and great customer service. I went in looking for 10mm ammo and to see what powder/primers they have in stock. I walked out with all kinds of goodies that were on my list of random things to buy when I run across them. 10mm ammo, 16ga shells, a box of buckshot and speed loader for my wife's 38. Still on the lookout for H1000 powder though. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.- 25 replies
