I have a tikka in 243 my son used 95 gr sst for a couple nice mule deer. I love tikka rifles and think they are extremely accurate out of the box Not sure the sst is the right bullet for an elk though. Maybe use this load for nosler accubond It should be close Imr 4831 40.5 gr col 2.630 Also shot the Sierra game king well in 85 g Imr 4451 42 gr 2.650 I have a buddy that shoots one too and might have some heavier loads I'm not going to say the 243 won't work but I would suggest a stout bullet. Maybe a Barnes ttsx would work.

Pulled these out of the house we just move into. Owners that left them said they are 8 years old and they paid $500 for each one. They moved to NJ so didn't want to haul them Westinghouse and frigidaire are the brands I'm in north Phoenix Open to trades even if I have to put some cash in to make up what you have in trade

These scopes are great. Clear and rock solid. I own two and they compare with my viper and vx 2 If you need a scope don't pass in these.

I'd suggest you build a nice sturdy reloading table and post pic as a demo. I bet you'd get some interest

Cabelas has racks near the gun library and they have Thompson Venture rifles for $375. Lots of options. All. New. I own one in .243 and it's one of the most accurate shooters for a stock out of e box rifle. It is heavy and the bolt is stiff but it shoots Throw a vortex diamond back 4-12 on there and he is just over budget for a nice shooting brand new rig
