    Sheds display

That's stooping pretty low. What did they think they were going to do with them? That's a pointless crime IMO
  2. I found this little honey hole up in 5B last weekend. I though I might get lucky, and get a couple photos, but when I picked it up on Saturday... I had over 50 hits! Unfortunatly, there is only 26 pictures on a roll of film. But take note on the date, they are all over a few days enjoy!

    Neat site.

That is a neat site, thanks for posting! I know there are a few items there that I could/ should put into my BOB

    Sheds display

I don't know what to do with them either. The ussually sit inside for a while, then move to the garage, and then out to the back yard. I would like to put them to a good use besides hanging on the walls. I guess I could start hanging them on the side of my house, but don't think the neigbors would like that too much.
  5. Oh yeah I was drinking everything I could find. We once bet my buddy he couldn't chew one for a minute. He did, but looked like he was going to die. So we then bet him $50 he couldn't drink a gallon of milk in an hour. It sounds easy, but as your stomach starts to digest the milk it curddles. About 45 min. into it everything came back up, burning all the way.
  6. Oh man, I once ate a jar of habanero chilies. I will never do that again! I don't know what burned more, going in, or coming out but they were about the same. I just finnished lunch too, a Dr. Pepper, and California rolls.

    Who is incharge

Amanda you are doing an AWSOME job, I havn't been around for long, but have noticed that 99% of the members here are nice people. Our members also do a lot of personal restraint when it comes to posting. I do like the idea of putting the pictures up by year, instead of unit. I'm sure any of us here would be more than happy to aid in any way to help the site out.
  8. http://www.snickers.com/advertising.asp I think it's so stupid it's kind of funny. But then I look at it from a deeper perspective and can see how this can hurt our hunting community by showing hunters as idiots. It shows hunters as redneck, idiots who arn't smart enough to realize that using a snickers as a weapon won't work. And the fact that out of all the candy thrown, one doesn't find it's target is just sad. I think we should all ambush the creator of this video with an ambush of payday bars.
  9. Tell me about it, today is moving so slow! I went to shoot my bow, and got back in the truck, it was only 11:00 So I came home and drew arrows in the elk from the trail camera pics. I'm SO BORED! and kind of hungry now.

    Check yer mail box!!!

I was hoping for the same thing. But they got it right, but now I have another problem. The 6A Muzzleloader Bull hunt starts the same time my 32 coues hunt starts. That means we have to nail one of them big boys on opening morning, so I can head down south for my deer! This may take some serious hunting.
  11. slow day huh? That actually looks pretty good..... I think I'll go make one.
  12. I know As soon as I saw the photos, and noticed that every photo had something in it I went to Bull Basin Archery Shop to see what they had. But they are sold out of the digitals until mid August. Also the little gun shop in Flagstaff had a cuddeback digital, but $400 was more than I wanted to pay. I was on a high, but not that big of one.

    A couple Elk Sheds

I found these above my trail camera, in unit 5B North. We found the small one, and as I was walking back to the quads, I saw the large one about twenty yards on the other side of the road. I then started doing circles trying to find the other side, or anything else. I didn't get to look for long, as the Flagstaff area was hit very hard with storms this past weekend, and no matter how long we tried to stay out there, we were sent running back to camp.
  14. That's what I thought, maybe 2 years old, and 150 pounds or so. I think I'll let him get a little bigger.

    A couple Elk Sheds

Where are you looking? Are you near the highway? I don't mean to make you mad, but I found these from the quads, as I was looking for a better look out to glass. They must be out there somewhere, as I have never seen so many big bulls in one little area.
  16. ouch! Scope eye is the worst. This year on the Javilina HAM hunt, I let my unlce shoot my muzzleloader. He thinks he is a tough guy so I put three pellets in it (150gr. of powder) His first mistake was putting his eys right against the scope, the second mistake was putting the butt of the rifle UNDER his shoulder. When that gun went off he stood up with the stupidist grin on his face and he says "Did I hit it?" I was in shock, his whole right side of his face was covered in blood. I was scared to death, that he had lost that eye, but he was bragging about it at work for weeks.
  17. Actually I didn't We drew in 6A But I still have a chance, I have a buddy who hasn't checked to see if he was drawn or not, I still have hope! If you notice, most of the bulls have their heads near that log standing in the middle of the photo. I fell, and broke my bottle of cow elk estrus there, I guess they found it!
  18. And I even had a bear come in, any guess on age, and size?
  19. No big explosions!?! Great Elk video! Those are some big bulls. I hope to get back up in 5B to get some video, and some sound clips; Hopefully of "my" bull. Where do you host your video at?
  20. Yeah, I would say you all are keeping them in business. I still get the little ones, but only spend about $50 a year from them, and since Sportsman's Warehouse opened I think it has become even less.

    left over permit list

Nothing for me this year either, I just don't like those hunts very much. I'll wait.....
  22. Ooh, your going to have a great hunt in 5B South. Have you been up there latrly? There are some big bulls running around. Drive around the Kinikinik lake road at around 20:00 with a spot light and see for yourself! My dad drew a 6A Bull Muzzleloader tag, and I drew anothe 32 Coues tag.
  23. This isn't 32 is it? I swear I shot my coues right in between those rocks, and that stick tree last year.
