  1. Very well put Rembrant. I love this place, we are one big family. Can I borrow $20?
  2. That does look like a really neat pack. I wonder how well it holds a bow though, as it seems like they are focusing more on the rifles, with only a couple pictures of bows on them. Either way it would be nice to have the gear you need in there, and not have to leave it back at camp because you need the room for something else.
  3. these? http://www.eberlestock.com/Just%20One.htm I think I may like those better than the Badlands 2200 packs.
  4. I just use a small Camelbak "trophy" pack. It's small. If I pack what I need (knives, poncho, gloves, and GPS) it is just about to explode. I was looking at the badlands 2200 pack. But fear it may be too big. Do you have a link to the one you are looking at?
  5. Porn? I guess there might be a naked person somewhere on one of the mountains, but I really doubt it.
  6. alright, but you are now half responisble for any deaths!
  7. sorry guys, if you think it's a little over the top I'll get rid of it.

Here are some ideas http://www.cabinfevergifts.com/antler-gift...?page=1&sort=2a I really like that candle holder http://www.oeba.ca/pages/prdcts/hard_antler.htm and some general "crafts" http://www.sportsmansdream.com/ant/0153d.htm#015m
  9. David, we had a heck of a weekend! We went to 5b to get our camera out of there, and got the trailer stuck. Then we went to 6a, and got stuck three more times. After getting soaked we came home this morning, and helped get two other trailers unstuck on the way. Then at Happy Jack Lodge as we were dropping the trailer off the hail hit. We got nothing this whole weekend. The worst part.... I forgot to replace the batteries in the camera when I put it out last week! -Kenny Bass
  10. That's so strange. If I try to see that topic, it shows a blank forum. But somehow the topic that isn't there has over 70 views.
  11. Looks like you have done all your homework! Those all are great bulls, and wouldn't mind hanging any of them on my wall. It was also neat to meet a fellow CWT member face to face, great photos.
  12. shoot, I paid over $120 for my camera alone!
  13. Does this mean you are leaving!?! I sure hope not, as a young hunter I have learned a lot from you, and a bunch of others here. I don't really know what brought this on, if someone could post a link to fill me in that would be great, but we all know how those in question are and how they act. I was never offended by your "god bless" comments, and never thought of it more than if it was another "good luck" signature. We love ya man!
  14. I'm like AZGRIZ, you couldn't give me anything in the world to get me down there. I like the good 'ole USA, if I can't get it here, I don't need it. I did have a buddy get stuck down there when the shrimp catchers were holding the border hostage. He said he has never been so scared in his life. When someone would try to four wheel past the road block, they would run them off the road farther, and beat the tar out of the driver.
  15. So was I! I kept telling myself that I had been banned for something. Mostly since I would see other members here and when I clicked on the "last click" it seemed like they were browsing just fine. Then around Friday or so I could get into the individual forums, but not the topics. Good to be back!

    it just gets goofier

That's how I get to it, but I hunt on the mountains far behind her property, so it doesn't really effect me. But I still care.

I don't think anyone can side with her, as much as she seems to change her stance. I think we need to have another "piss on" sticker for her to keep my USO one company.
  18. You can also have just the negitives developed, then go home and write down which ones you want. Then take them back to have just those developed. But what coues7 is trying to say is that you pay $5-8 for the film, then pay another $3-8 for the pictures to get developed, just to find out you have 24 pictures of birds. So then the whole proccess starts again with new film.
  19. Does anyone shoot these? I bought a dozen of the Super Carbon "Hunter" arrows the other day, and matched them with the Steel Force Premium tips. The good news is that with my current setup, they fly just as good as my feild tips do, the bad news? I broke two already. I couldn't wait to shoot them to see how they would do, so I set up my little range in the back yard and let them fly. I heard a slight "click" with the first one and thought nothing of it. I then sent two feild tips flying for comparison. The second broadhead was released, and this time a very loud "click" was heard. This time I knew what had happened. The broadheads did a nice pass through of my target, and hit the brick wall one foot behind it. One was stuck in the brick so good, that it pulled the insert out of my arrow, and took a pair of pliers to get it out. The other one just broke the tip off. I think I'm going to go buy a new package of them, and not use them near bricks anymore. BTW as you read I did switch to carbons finnaly, and what a world of difference it makes! It may just be me, but I would swear my groups have gotten smaller. And the felt recoil is nothing compared to the game getter IIs I use to shoot.
  20. Next time you're going dove hunting, empty the shot, and fill them with flour. *poof*

    HOLY SHIZBOTS!

I just got back from grabbing a bite to eat, and while crossing the yard though "man it's still rainin' HARD!" then it hit me, the sprinklers were on. It' still thundering pretty good outside.

    HOLY SHIZBOTS!

Chandler too. I was coming back from my buddies house where we were supose to be shooting our bows, but the rain hit anyways I was coming up Elliot doing about 20 MPH or so, and was still throwing water over the car driving next to me. My bow got wet though
  24. Nic pic russd! What unit is that? I guess I'm not really taking a chance with mine. I set min up on Sunday afternoon 99% of the time, and pick it up Saturday morning. Not too many people out there during the week.
  25. Maybe I'm just ignorant, but I have a hard time leaving a $400 piece of equipment anywhere. Yes I have a thick bike lock that I use to secure my camera to trees, but if I loose $100, I would still be mad, but not as much as if it was quadruple that. I can see your point, about saving money in the long run. (short depending how much you use your camera) I'm thinking about buying a digital Stealth Cam in the near future. I like the idea of going back to camp to see my pictures, and not having to run back into town. But I have been way out in the middle of nowhere about to set up my camera, and look over to see a group of people glassing. I just don't trust the "weekend warriors" out there. I would like to think that other hunters would leave it alone, but I'm not sure about the other people out there. I had my camera set-up on an abondoned/closed road, and when I went to pick it up, there were tire treads everywhere. It would be too easy to put a .22 into a camera afte being caught doing something illigal. That's just my $.02
