I like the Magnus Stingers for most of my hunting. They fly pretty good with little if any loss of accuracy. They also seem to penetrate pretty good. I was going to buy the wacems, but the ones I looked at seemed too small. I like to make big holes.

I'm so sorry to hear about your week! We lost our dog last year after spring break. Poor thing, I know you might think it's too soon, but once everything cools down you may think about picking up a new pup. It helped us out a ton! It's hard to be sad when there is a puppy running around. I'm also sorry to hear about your mom. It will be my pleasure to send my best wishes for you.

That's some pretty straight shooting with a lever gun to be able to redirect a coues' path!

I don't use a stand. But I have made a few screw in spikes for others. I used 1/2" round stock. I then heated them up with an Oxy/Act. torch to make the two bends. After the bend was made, I then used a threading die to put the "screw" on it. I have also tapered the end, and made it sqaure. Then put a slow twist on it. For this you would need a forge, but they work. But is it worth making your own? I don't think so.

I missed last weekend, but for the four weeks before that it has been very very wet up north. Just driving down a road on the quad packed the mud behind my leg all the way to the seat. Stay dry!

Great job! Just don't get them purry shoes dirty! I made that mistake last year on my whitetail hunt, I changed out of my boots then attempted to put the deer away. I had nice bright red shoes. (they didn't smell to good either!)

The past January I decided to take one of my good friends archery deer hunting for the new year. Well we got back early, ate, and tried to fall asleep for the openingday. Well we got bored laying there so I started going through my pack with the spotlight. He called my name, and not thinking shined the light right in his eyes. He said some words to me, and we both laughed, but later it became a game. We each had our lights, and catching the other with his eyes open was the ticket. Well nature called, so I set a trap. A little later the entire tent lit up. Then one of the worst screams I have ever heard came. He had tried to get up to go get something out of my truck and tripped the sensor of my game camera. I think everyone in the state heard that story atleast twice over that weekend.

Oh man that's what I needed to get my blood going! I messed my rest up, and the stores around here are sold out of the replacement until next week. I also have to go into my online class today for a weekly check in, I might toss my bow in the back of the truck and leave there to go fix this darn rest. It's been almost a week since I have last shot. Great photos, and they couldn't have come at a better time.

Well if all of you are keeping your stickers, then I guess I will too. I was asked why I was angry with USO Thursday at the Mesa Sportsmans warehouse. I told him about what they were doing, and he says "Are you still dwelling on that!?!" He was from Washington, so I guess he's proud of them.
