ugh! Have you ever been inside a trailer going down the road? I can tell you, you will only do it once! I did it for about 5 miles, and was about to puke after the third turn.

This is why we need shirts. Other wise we don't know we are talking to other members. There have been a few cases reported along the Mt. Ord area too. I guess a couple small bucks have been found near water with .22's in them. Also a few small camps that show up Sunday afternoon.

Remember 98.3941% of all statistics are made up. I know I have my 1911A1 in condition 3 under my pillow, and my M590 (yes there is a blade on it) is on condition 1. Do I think I'm evil? Nope, I'm safe.

They dry fired your bow!?! What happened? Let's hear this story!

Man, I wish I would have known the archery tags were over the counter. Two weeks ago I was about 10 yards away from one Tom, a couple Jakes, and a few hens. I just sat there watching them, then they slowly walked away clucking to each other. Nice bird though! What kind of broad heads were you using?

I agree with the mechanicals. I was talked in to buying some again (the Snyper 100s) for this years hunt. Last night when I was removing them from my quiver, the blades came unscrewed from the point, and pulled out the foam. These things are junk! If I just spin them on the arrow, they will open up. Any shot past 40 yards, and they will open, well one blade atleast, and send the arrow way off course. I'm glad I didn't have a shot when I was carrying these! Good job on the buck! But I have to ask too, where are the pics?

I was going to say he just needed to follow the money trail. I have been hearing a lot of people talking about how their area was burned out, so they had to put in somewhere else. It does seem like a lot of animals would move back in the burn area to releive the presure.

David, You sure have been doing your homework! He's a beautiful bull, with lots of character, nice pics. Good luck on your hunt! -
Thankfully I saw this thread first! I too thought it might have been a joke. On other sites, they will put those kind of headings in the title. But once the thread is opened it will say "Now that I have your attention....." But then I saw it wasn't a "regular" or even a normal name, I didn't go in.

Oh yeah, I got really close to the screen, looking for that darn coyote. I forgot I had posted that.

While out and about the other day I stumbled upon this little gem. As you can see it must be from a kill, as there is still hair, and part of the skull still attached. I looked around, but couldn't find any other bones, or the other side.

I had a hard time finding the photos, so I thought I would post the link here incase anyone else was having a hard time. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/archery_hunt..._hunters_12.htm That is a great deer!

Good job! I too want to see the photos later!

Thanks for the info Lark, I never really thought about how each preditor would come in next for a bite to eat, but it makes perfect sense. As for the antler, I have it sitting on my desk, it is the biggest I have found from a deer.

Glad to hear both of you are having better luck already. Az4life, That may have been just what your wife needed. Sometimes it's just best to have a nice long cry, seems silly, but it releives the stress like none other. Good luck guys.

Ouch! Let us know how he is doing, it's too bad this happened to a fellow hunter on opening weekend.
-
I think firstcoueswas80 was making them for a while. You might PM him, and see if there are any left. I found this out after I had mine made. I just went to the park & swap, and had the guy there make mine. He was a little lost since I had him make my M38A1 US Army jeep markings, then I was pissing on USO. (He was thinking entertaining the troops, USO)

Well we already have two, and it's only the first weekend! Good job on the buck, I hope we get to see the photos soon. BTW how is your buddy?

When is the last time you saw...

It has been sometime! I'm loving it though, in some spots I lost my quad! The road would dip down a bit, and the grass would cover everything else. I really must learn to carry my digital with me more often, I had some beautiful veiws over the weekend. Very nice photo, looks like something out of the Az Highways magizines. -
I would be proud to take a shot at any of those! Very nice pics.

Tell us, we all want to know what I won by guessing right! -
Great job! I was up north just trying to get away from everyone else. I didn't see any deer, but did ride up to a flock of 10 turkey on the quad when I was going back out for the afternoon hunt on Saturday. I just sat there 10 yards away watching them. They wern't scared at all, infact I made a few calls on the CB back to the camp, tried to get them on video, but my camera was dead, so I just sat there for another fifteen minutes or so until they slowly walked away. Only later that night I was told that archery turkey tags are OTC. The whole way home I was wondering who had stuck a deer. Once again great job, and I can't wait to see the pics!
