Just tell him to make it a sectional project. I have seen way too many projects messed up in welding when they try to do it with one cut. I think I might have to try my hand at that too.

That isn't you on the far right is it? JK For what it's worth, we had a couple guys do like you and your friends on Friday. They DID get dress coded, but that was because the security could see their boxers. Nothing more happened, but a warning that if it was seen again "action would be taken."

I'm still laughing over that. I would have loved to see his face afterward. Might have gotten you a bigger ticket though.

KGAINES, what an @$$! That would piss me off too. I do remember that when I was being "held" after they found the knives the dumb witch that heads security tells me... "Well, you are lucky that your truck wasn't stolen off of campus!" At this point I knew I was in trouble, so I tried to push my luck as far I could. I made a crack about if so many vehicles were stolen, then they (security) wasn't doing a very good job. Her comback was priceless, "Kid, what would you have done if that truck was stolen, and those knives used in a crime? When they ran that serial number, they would come back to YOU!" I started laughing, and made another crack about registering those dangerous assault knives. She was getting pissed, so I stopped for the week. But when I came back the following week, the window searches started again. This time I was smart though, I hund towls over my windows to "Keep the hot Arizona sun out." They called me back up to have me remove the towls, so I came back with a possible lawsuit. She said they have the right to search any vehicle any time they want. And that if they wanted to search it on the hour for the entire day they could. I looked at the on campus cop and asked who I had to talk to about a "harassment lawsuit." She tried to keep arguing, but he gave her the "SHUT UP" look. Since then I have been best friends with the security officers, but the lady still hates me. Push your luck, you will ussually win.

Nice pics. I hope you get the chance to shoot one of those big ones. I had a good friend hunt 36 last year. His suburban squats really bad in the back from hauling too much weight with a cheap lift. He told me he was stopped just about everytime he was driving by the BP. I would be glad they would be coming into my camp, and if had the chance, offer them a nice cold drink.

Oh yeah, getting kicked out for a week is no big deal! I was booted the day I came back from the worst spring break ever! I had went camping/hunting with one of my buddies and his little brother, and somehow over looked a knife in the back of my truck. Security found it as they "just glanced in as they walked by" and I was gone! When I came back, they asked me if I had learned my lesson. I was too pissed to tell them that I had, so I told them "heck NO! It was like another spring break for me! I went camping, went hunting for a couple days, made some more money at work, then finnished the last two days off at the lake!" When they heard this, they called my mom to try and catch me in a lie, but she told them the same thing I told them, after all.... it was what I did! Now before you guys start saying that my parents are the reason this world is so messed up, and they should have punished me for being kicked out of school for a week, let me fill you in on the details. The school security is/was out to get me when ever they could. I had my truck searched at least once a week there for a while for "assault type weapons." I had them on tape too many times looking through my windows, and on one occation I left my doors unlocked on purpose and they let themselves do a search that no one else knew of, or so they thought. So when they said "just glanced in as they walked by" is a total lie! I put another knife (much bigger) where they other one was and closed the door. I then walked by, and even though I knew where it was, could not see it through the tinted windows. I had to look into the window, and try to make it out still. Anyways, if you do get kicked out, I stand behind you guys 110%!

I just like that it is "OUR" site. On all of the other sites out there a whitetail is this a different animal than what we hunt. Therefore I hate giving my hunting tips, as they won't work back East, just like their tips will blow it here. All of our member hunt the same kind of terrain, and know what is going on. #1 here too!

They just roamed away. But these are the older "hardcore" breed. they look nothing like todays "soft" ones we have running around. (It came off my '53 M38A1 army jeep)

I still have a few very old (1960ish) ones laying around in my garage.

I would think it would be considered concealed. But like they say I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. (or never found at all) On the flip side, the first main thing to consider is cover, then returned fire. It doesn't make sense to shoot back at a target from an open area. I see nothing but problems from wearing an auto on your hip during an archery season. It's just too easy to get to, and I think most GFD agents wouldn't think twice for writting you up. Of course I only carry when by myself, in a unit I do not trust. If I'm north of the valley, it will most likly be at camp.

Glad to hear our fellow AZ arrow flinger is doing much better.

There are a few member here that do pack when archery huting in certain spots. The way I see it, as long as it's in my pack, and the deer (or what ever) does not appear to be shot with a gun, there is no need to have anyone else know.

Yep, the one on Baseline, in Mesa has a small archery shop as well as the bait shop.

Yep, that should be an easy fix. Since that really isn't your deer under the skin, I see no problem at all.

Good thinking on using their rules on them! I know that unless I'm at Waterdog Willy's I never let my bow out of my site, that is why. Glad to hear they fixed everything.
