Yeah Archery HQ is a good place to go to. Unless you shoot Gold Tips, because those are backordered for about eight weeks! I just bought some Vapor 4000's last week and they fly just as good as any arrow I have ever shot. If you can take in a current arrow that is the right size that will be a huge plus for them.

Hey Bowhunter12, glad you found the site! It may take a while for some of our members warm up to new guys. You see, like I told you, every year about this time we get a ton of what we call "e-scouters." These are people who bombard the hunting sites looking for any slight hint on where to go looking for game. Also, check your PM box again. -Kenny Bass

I havn't fixed anything yet, so for those who do not have to scroll, the photos may be shrinking on your computers. After I posted that I headed out to the mountains again to do some more scouting for elk, and the such. I'll get on that tonight when I can get on the desktop.

If you mean "would you shoot" heck yeah I would take a shot close to dark. Doesn't the rules say thirty minutes after sunset?
-
I have another question for our members. I did this write up on my laptop, and when I view it on the laptop it looks fine. Although when I view it on the desktop scrolling left to right is needed as the photos are too big. Is this the same for you guys and gals? If so I will resize those pics.

This one was taken the last day of the muzzleloader bull hunt in 6A last year.

I was just talking tonight with my dad about trying to find a nice looking badger, or bobcat and having it mounted. I really like the bobcat mount where it is pawing at the quail. Although I think my labs might think be scared of it. That is unless you ask missedagain, he will tell you how my Yellow lab Buddy will tear it all up, that dog is a killer! Cool photos and stories.

A new bow (well, the new string) will need to be resighted in after it is shot for some time. Your string is just doing like it's supose to do IMO. If I were in your position, I would keep shooting and adjusting until it quit which I don't think it should take very long for everything to settle down. Wait until some of the other more advanced members post, to be sure.

But the names are on the maps correct? Somewhere I have a book that lists about 99% of the tricktanks in Arizona with the coordnates. Maybe the book has the same tricktanks listed? Just a thought.

Cool photos, thanks for posting!

You are 100% correct! I should add that to the very begining to let people know that. Amanda did ask that all coues photos be emailed to her then the link posted to the photo. Thanks for the heads up. I'm also going to go into detail about how to post a photo from another site using the code.

I havn't tried it yet, but wouldn't the $60 topo map program show the water holes in the area? Atleast then you would have mapping software for the rest of the state too.

That larger one is hitting that block kind of late. I wonder if he has been hunted so hard that he only moves at night. Great pics. What editing program are you using to do the close ups? What ever it is, it does a good job of not bluring the photo.

Looks like it worked! That is a good looking bear, are planning on going after it?

A Few Wildlife Pics.....

Great pics Dan. How close to that pronghorn were you? -
Thanks KGAINES. I would still like our member to help out a bit, and respond if they would like some changes made. I also think it would be helpful for members to post what free host they use to host their photos. It might help out people looking for a site if there were links here for them to use.

There was a video I did up of the small herd of bucks this guy was running with, but I can't get it to work online. Photobucket just gave the opening scene, and played the music, but nothing else, and the site says it's too big to load here. I'm going to try google vids, and see if that will work, but in the mean time here are a couple stills of him.
-
Alright, then I'll get on that today. Does anyone have a list of the free hosting sites that are reliable? I personally use photobucket, but what are the others out there you all use? RR, I think I can add that into it for our users.

http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pr...&hasJS=true There is info about this camera. I'll try to get a comparison photo up between a 35mm stealth cam, and wal-marts old digi cam along with the new one. It does have a slot for a SD card, and I have one for mine. I think the best thing to do is to hit up best buy once a week or so, and look for the returned ones. Most of the time they are really cheap, I got mine for $15 for a 256mb. They are perfectly fine, and have been put through tons of tests before the store accepts them back (just ask anyone who has ever returned anything back to best buy) I did the same thing with my sony hanicam I use for filming.

You know there have been a ton of PMs bouncing across the site lately asking how to post, resize, and save photos. What do you all think about having someone (heck, I'll do it) a write up on how to get your photos from your computer to the site for everyone to see. This way we could make it a sticky at the top of the photos forum to help everyone out a bit.

Nice buck in Northern AZ

Are these crystals available through Cabela's? -
Darn, I bought one of the older larger digi ones that they were selling, and it didn't come with a USB cord. I took it back, and got another one, and that one didn't have one either. Also when I bought the newer one, it didn't come with a USB cord. Man, do I know how to pick 'em or what! I agree, these little cameras do not take awsome photos, but how can you compare a $60 camera to one that costs $200+? You can't, and I never will try to compare two items that far apart, but for the money they are well worth it to me.
-
Yeah, that looks like my little cam. It's about the size of a mouse pad correct? Did you get a USB cable with yours?

Alright, I have to finnish this thread off.....

Who has a battery operated sawzall? I also want one of those elk crossing signs up north.
