The bear shown dead is that bear it was just cloudy. It really showed his color when he was up in a tree. When we were taking pics it got a little cloudy.

Kidso that was actually the boar we ended up killing. I had caught him two weekends ago and let him walk.

She always does pretty good one of my top dogs all around. She is the blue tic dog with the solid red dog. Those two are my best dogs.

Good looking bear! I would guess it to be a boar about 200-225#

know this is a little late but thought I would still share the pics. Caught this nice tom on the last snow we got on the mountain. Wasn't even looking for a lion just getting some dogs out. Until we started getting into about 2 inches of snow. Pretty simple race cut his track put some dogs down and started walking the track out. He was making circles in a little draw and then we came to his kill of a spike bull elk. From there it was all over race only last about a mile from the kill. Hope you enjoy the pics!
