Shane told the awesome story to our trip. I just wanted to post a few more pictures of our trip. Not one I'm sure any of us will soon forget

Was fortunate enough to pick up this horn a couple weeks ago. Have yet to find the other side and I'm losing sleep over it haha. It weighs right at the 16 lb mark. Pictures don't really do it justice.

I've found around 300-400 lbs this year. I don't go out all day everyday. Maybe one or two days a week. Don't own a four wheeler just hike my butt off.

Been able to make it out a few times . Not having to bad of yr. just hope I run into a few more browns

Just wanted to share a few pictures from our year so far. I still have a dec coues tag in my pocket so hopefully we get one more down this yr.

Well I got my coues deer yesterday to end the year. Has been a fun year and looking forward to 2015

Ha thanks everyone I didn't realize but I guess we didn't smile for many pics. We were all pretty dang excited though with all these animals. Yes the deer is arizona. My father missed a buck of that caliber also bedded right next to my brothers. My wife had some opportunities on some giant elk as well on her archery hunt. Been an awesome year. If I can top it off with a nice coues deer I'll be thrilled

I had both bulls coming in almost every night so the dates didn't really matter. I thought they were different just could never get the same angle of each bull

Had a pretty good first half of the yr. All the money is going right back into our hunts. Bought my wife a bow for her archery bull hunt and me and 300 ultra mag for my late rifle tag.

Had a good couple of days. Ended up with 21 browns

You can find elk. We find many good bulls every year hunting deer in this unit. Me and a buddy of mine hunted it 3 years ago and he missed a 360 bull and two other bulls all the same day. It's a tough hunt but can be done. Spend a lot of time behind the glasses and find water.

How many 400+ bulls came out of 9 or 10 this last year compared to 1 and 27?

Have quite a few coues sheds that I could trade

I had the opportunity to go on this hunt with my good friend and cousin titan merrill. we had pretty good morning finding elk. we found 4 or 5 other bulls when we glassed these ones bedded up on the side of the ridge. he was with 3 other big bulls and we couldnt decide which one to shoot. as we sat there for 30 min deciding which bull to shoot titan finally settled the crosshairs of the 30-378 on the bull and squeezed one off. the bull never moved. as i watched the other three bulls run up the hill i thought for sure he shot the wrong bull. as soon as we came around the corner and saw what he shot I was assured that we shot the right one. congrats to titan on this bull. couldn't of happened to a better guy.
