DONE!!!! And that didn't even hurt.

I can understand if I was asking for full service, but all I wanted was for them to cut them down. I would have gladly paid them $1.00 per arrow just for that (no inserts or fletching) He didn't even want to discuss what I was needing. I tried to explain what I was needing, he again stated $2.50 per. That's ok I had Kim cut them for me. I am truley happy that you have found a shop that will attend to your needs and satisfies you. I have not at this point. I guess I need to fab. a cutter for my self.

Thank you for your comments, I did try and give them a response for their actions and was rebuffed over Kings Camo. They tried to tell me Kings was out of business when I asked if they were going to carry it. It almost turned into an argument.

I use the Sonoran long range. You can order additional pins in different colors. I am ranged out to 80 yrds. sonoranbowhunting.com He is here in Tucson and can fill your order quickly.

DesertDeisel I mean you no disrespect and now understand your position "to educate the public" Having read that statement you have my full and unwavering support, as you did before, I just don't want you to damage your reputation or standing over a self centered self serving individual. Thank you Trophy. I plan too. I don't view it as personally attacking the fraud. I consider it to be educating the public. Then again, if the administrators could add a permanent signature line to all of his posts that stated, "Caution, this man is a liar and self-admitted fraud. Heed his advice at your own risk!" I wouldn't have to say anything more.

Very well put and I do agree to the right to defend ones self. I simply stated that by you taking it one step further you put your self in the same category he is in. I don't think that is where you desire to be, and I wanted to let you know that that is where it looks like you are from the outside looking in. In short "BE CAREFUL" you don't want to be there. Thank you for acknowledging my right to defend my integrity. As I previously stated, for years I have kept my mouth shut while this fraud and liar posts his nonsense. You can call it attacking if you like. I'm simply setting the record straight. Everything I have posted about Catclaw is true. I have not fabricated a single story, those fanatsies are his and his alone. If someone wants to go to a public forum and say negitive things, it usually doesn't bother me. But when my integrity gets called into question, I do take issue with that. It is easy for you sit there from the sidelines and say what ought to be done becuase he hasn't called you out in public, he hasn't called Eastman's and told lies about you, he hasn't called RMEF and told lies about you. Let me be very clear, I didn't start this. I agree this site should be about the outdoors and teaching others the ethics and responsibility of hunting. But he attacked my integrity, and many of the forum members here convicted and sentenced me in the court of public opinion without even hearing what I had to say. I have refuted (sucessfully I hope) every lie he has told about me. I've also discretted this fraud for what he is. Fact is, he has done the same thing to others here on this board. Sadly he goes around this board (and others I'm sure) giving advice (often bad) to those who don't know him for what he is. He preaches ethics yet he doesn't have any himself. For the record, I would have taken much greater pleasure in dealing with Catclaw in person, just he and I. Unfortunately he used this podium and many here gave him an audience.

This entire post is very SAD. I have never read such B.S. Do you guys need a counselor? I thought this site was to inform us on good tactics and hunting, you know EDUCATIONAL!!!! I for one am here to share and learn the "ART" of hunting and all that IS outdoors. Lets keep it on that level and keep your petty differences off of this site. DesertDiesel I understand you were called out and had to respond but this, I don't think is the place for what was done. Yes you should have the right to defend yourself but not attack the guy ( it puts you on the same level as he). I am just saying "PLEASE LETS KEEP THIS SITE ABOUT THE OUTDOORS AND TEACHING OUR KIDS THE ETHICS AND RESPONSIBILITY THE OUTDOORS HOLD FOR ALL"

Check out the footage of this TOAD!

He is huge, but I think a rifle is just a little big!!! unless its an air rifle!!! -
I went into that store on three separate occasions and got the same results every time. When you get that kind of service from the store manager you have to wonder if that is the way it is run on a daily basis, three strikes and your out. Besides the attitude WHO PAYS $2.50 PER ARROW JUST TO GET THEM CUT??????
-
I also have had bad experiences at the Tucson shop. They made me feel like I was a looser hunting with old equipment. They looked down at me. I will walk out of a store every time when they think they can try and make me feel like a third rate hunter. Old or new its the shot pacement that kills.

I only own one stand and it is a gander mtn stand for around $80. Only used it once so far. It is good but can get tuff on the tookus after several hours.

In 34A I watched two wt does tag team this bobcat all over the hill I was next to. When one doe got tired the other took over. they chased him for over ten minutes before he finally had enough and selected zone 5 and bugged out. Wish I had gotten it on film. Last year I was scouting for my dads early wt hunt when I heard a noise behind and to the left of me, as I turned around to see what was making the noise I was practically ran over by six Javelina being chased by a Mountain Lion. As I walked back to my truck I found the Lion tracks "inside of my boot prints" as I walked in!! I also witnessed an XXX event wt hunting when I was 15. -
Hi my name is Stephen Forrest: I recently added my name to the ever growing list of members. About a year and a half ago I lost my "good" job installing/troubleshooting satellite systems and Internet sat systems. I currently provide transportation for various agencies and insurance companies taking disabled, school age, and at risk kids and adults to and from appts. In my spare time I like to fabricate and build things out of metal (mostly). My brother Rick owns Sonoran Bowhunting Products her in Tucson where I was born and raised. I have one son 9 and he loves to go out with me. See story Javelina Hunting "Arizona Style" in the Javelina forum, he took the pics. I also posted a thread in he trail cam forum on fabricating "real" security boxes for your cams. If you need a real box made contact me here or at stephenforrest70@yahoo.com Thanks for this forum it is great to see the diversity of professions out in the field!!!!!!!!!!

Good things come to those that are good in all aspects of life, sounds like you and your friend are in that category!!! The Forrest family is with you and yours during this difficult time, hoping for the best!

The physical pain only took about a year after the last surgery, but he mental pain of what the docs. said and finally getting up the nerve to go out and try pulling your bow back hopping there wouldn't be the pain all the while your wife not wanting you to try and failing was the worst. She didn't want to see me go deeper into the "dark" and away from her. If I could I would visit those docs and "show" them just how strong my wrist really is. Thanks for your understanding and support, it really means a lot!!!!!!!!!!1 Everyone who knows me can tell you my favorite thing to hunt are the pigs. I'm glad to see you showed them doctors how wrong they were. That is a long time to recover and it must have been a long painful recovery before you rejoiced with a successful archery pig hunt. Thanks for sharing. TJ

Here you go!!!!! These shots are from several locations. This is where I killed my pig this year. See story in Javelina forum Cudos to these guys they didn't mess with my cam. (all locked up and all)
-
I made a security box for my first cam and it was destroyed the day after I left it . During work I felt there was something wrong and I went to see right after work. I found my box destroyed and the cam and solar panel gone. This welded box was ripped open, it must have taken them/him/her quite some time to get it open. I have made changes to my boxes, no problems yet. YOU DID LESS THAN WHAT I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE UNDER THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOUR SELF FOR SHOWING MORE CONTROL THAN MOST OF US DESPITE WHAT THEY SAY. I DON'T UNDERESTIMATE WHAT TRUE ANGER BRINGS ME TOO. I HAVE LEARNED TO CONTROL IT, I BELIEVE YOU HAVE AS WELL, GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the muleys are at night but I had a bachelor herd of 5 wt that hit the tank at mid-day, until the rancher put several head of cattle in the small pasture. I never saw the wt in there again. Changed tactics and killed one two pastures over.
-
TJ These pigs are in units 34A and 34B I killed in B this year. I had cams everywhere last year as it was the first full year I could hunt after crushing my right wrist back in 1997 and three surgeries in 2000 and 01. Docs said I would never bow hunt again, guess they were wrong!!!

+1 I know I sound like a broken record about the Swhacker, and I am not talking because my brother designed the head. I am talking from experience. We tested the head for two years before offering it to you guys. We shot hogs in the shoulder, coyotes, plywood, plexi glass, basically anything we could think of and this head NEVER FAILED TO OPEN. We even put multiple bands on it and it still opened. This is not all the game I have taken !!! Go to sonoranbowhunting.com and see other pics
-
TJ youshould try the swhacker they don't have the rage problem and the blades are thicker and hold up very well. I have taken two bulls two deer and one pig with the same head..
-
I have not tried those. But when you use the swhacker heads you won't need to!!! Go to sonoranbowhunting.com and look in the photo gallery, all were taken with swhackers. Best head out there!!!!!!!!!!
