Yes they are one in the same, Hank Parker partnered with Rick and changed the name. I believe there was some slight changes with the blades and the tolerances.

I understand your point of view, I just want to have a complete understanding of your experience so we can prevent it in the future for the rest of use that like and use it. thanks for you response.

I was finally able to download the pics from my 2nd camera in the 2nd area I set my cams. I have been having some problems with one of my cams. I found out that I was causing the problem when I use my digital pack camera to view the pics on site. Doing that was putting two formats on the SD card and it caused the trail cam to get confused as to which format to use so it just shut down and didn't take any shots.

WOW!!! Holy @$##$ that would put a pucker factor of 45 on any man. Great story and photos. Cudos Lance!

I would like to ask you, if you used the shrink tubbing on them and if so how many bands? Did the heads still have the bands on them after the shot? I have been shooting these heads since their inception and have never had a failure. I have even shot rabbits with them, almost cutting them in half.

You can still get some from Cabella's or Sportsmans Warehouse.

Today on my way home from working in Sierra Vista I decided to stop and look around one of my hunting spots, and to check a windmill. I found the gate locked with two locks, one with EPNG stamped on it and the other with KN on it. I believe they stand for El Paso Natural Gas and Kinder Morgan. My complaint is what law is on the books that allows any person or entity to lock access to state trust land? I called the number on the sign and left a message, hopefully I will hear back tomorrow. I talked to Matt Walton the other day and he has come up with a plan to take to State Land Dept. that we believe will have an answer for every contingency and possible excuse they might come up with. We should also have the backing from ADOT and DPS as fare as the dangers from keeping the gate locked. I will post our victory when it comes.

That fence we talked about is in the ADOT right of way. It would be between the Adot fencing along the highway and the lower fence off of the off ramp. The fence is a "just in case" senario so ADOT can secure equipment. He did not have a time line, but I will contact him in a week to get a feel for the opisition and if WE need to show how much "noise" we can muster at the meeting I will call for if needed.

Audsley, we are only at half-time. There is a lot of work ahead and it would be nice to get a head count of the guys that would be willing to accompany me if I can get a meeting with some of the Commissioners of AZGFD. I will be calling Matt tomorrow to get a progress report on his efforts. Next step is the request for the sit down. Hey ElkHunter, I myself hunt in Southern Az also and my truck is getting a repower at my dads diesel shop(Cummins Conversion) but, I would for sure work with you any way i could to assist in these locked gate problems, pitch in for gas, bring water and help mapout locked gates. Let me know. During my conversation with Matt he brought up one of the solutions that would need a new fence to fence in a possible ADOT holding pen. My response was that I would help in the building of that fence. If that option is the one that is needed to obtain the open gate I will let you know how and when you can help. I have also pointed out other locations I have found locked gates on Trust Land, all are being looked into. Matt Walton of G&F is one of the best state workers I have had the pleasure of meeting. If any of you find a locked gate on State Trust Land you can contact me here or by phone (520)302-3097 I will need a good description of the location, GPS of the gates location would be the best as Matt uses it in his investigations.

rifle for a 11 year old girl
Elkhunter1 replied to 218buck's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I agree that every body is entitled to their opinion, but from my families experience the 243 can and does KILL Elk. The most important thing to consider is, Will she be comfortable with what she is shooting. Like what was said above by Naturegirl she will not shoot accurately if she flinches anticipating the shot. -
Updated.

Ya I checked the tank out and the rancher took the float off, but just to the right of the pics there is the feeder pipe with a cracked valve that is still leaking. I am going to keep an eye on this site and the other one near it for increased traffic.

Will this Aug. be better to me than the past.
Elkhunter1 posted a topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Opening day of the 2010 Aug. season I found myself sitting in my blind watching about 150 head of cattle standing around the water tank. The rancher moved them in just before the start of the hunt. I had five Coues bucks coming in every day between 09:30 and 15;00. Now all I see are cows, all day, every minute I was in the blind. I decided to abandoned the blind and give chase. I found them in a nearby canyon in the morning of day two. I gave chase for two days battling both them and the monsoon rains. On the third afternoon I was able to bed them in the most favorable position the canyon offered. As I gathered up all of my gear I noticed a Border Patrol Agent behind my truck. After talking to him and he clears me and my truck through the warrants check I take off and start my long stalk. After about two hours I am at the point to lighten my load and drop my pack. I notice that my right hand is empty, oh @%!??? , I don't have my release. It is sitting on the gear shift in my truck. I spent the next 20 minutes getting back to the truck. Just as I lock and shut the door on my truck a huge monsoon wall of water came over the back side of the canyon and engulfed the bucks and me. It rained so heavy that you couldn't see 20 yards in front of you. After about 45 minutes I was able to glass again and I found the bucks up and about a third of the way up the ridge and in a safe position. Day three was over. Day four I was unable to relocate the bucks in the morning. As I sat in my truck contemplating my next move I see a buck walk across the road in front of me. I grab my bow, slip out of my truck and circle around. As I topped the ridge I find a good shooting lane and get ready. Hopping this buck had a bigger buck with him, I wait. Seconds later he stops broadside right in the lane. Yes I know he isn't the big guy I was chasing, I simply found myself drawing, aiming and releasing. It was like I was on autopilot. I hit him high and he went down. I am happy with him as he is my first Coues with a bow. -
Yes I agree here there is only two law enforcement officers covering ALL of the Coronado.
