    Swacker Broadheads

The entry holes are at least 1 inch. When we first took it afield there was 16 Elk killed that year all but 1 went less than 100 yards.

    Swacker Broadheads

I can only tell you this head was designed for Elk and that it has killed every animal in Arizona it has been shot at. Check out other posts here on this broadhead and you will see some pics. My avatar is the first kill I have with it.

    iPad for checking trail cameras.

I format the cards in the trail cam as well, but there is a file on the card that you can't get rid of by simply formatting it in the camera you have to open the card with your computer and right click the file and delete it.

    2012 Goals

I have a new work partner from back east, he has taken some deer from Maine. It would be his first Arizona kill if he gets drawn. I want to just put a bigger Coues down this year with my bow.

    iPad for checking trail cameras.

I was one of those guys using my digital cam to view the pics, then the trail cam started messing up, I found out that there is a code file on the sd card that is put there by the device that downloads to it AND reads it. So the trail cam stopped working because there was two code files on the SD card and it couldn't read both. The moral of this story is, YOU SHOULDN'T USE YOUR DIGITAL CAMS TO VIEW THE SD CARDS.

    Who taught you to hunt?

My dad not only taught me and my two brothers how to hunt, where to hunt, and with what weapon, but he taught us to conduct ourselves with the utmost dignity and respect for the land and the animal we hunted. He also taught hundreds adults and kids Hunter Safety here in Tucson. I can remember sitting in on the classes when I wasn't old enough to attend cause my mom also taught the classes. The instructors would look to me when the others didn't have the answers, "it always pissed off the older kids when a five year old knew the answer." Even though he doesn't get out to chase Coues Deer all that much anymore he still hunts Quail and Dove. He is always the person that knows where I am out in the field and he is the first call when I hit what I am chasing. He still gives advise and I still hear the excitement in his voice when the call is to tell him I was successful. My oldest brother taught me what a rush you get from hunting with a bow. He showed me how to look at the land and come-up with a tactical plan of attack to get close enough to take that buck. He took me everywhere and for that I will always be grateful. Hunting for me is not about the kill, it's about getting out there with family and friends and just having a good time and seeing nature at work, but honestly there is nothing like being behind my brother and watching him take a big game animal with his bow, watching the arrow like a missile penetrate the chest. My best memory is of the 2009 rifle hunt of my dads when my brother and I put aside our differences and helped my dad take a good buck. THANK YOU BOTH FOR THE TIME AND ATTENTION YOU SELFLESSLY GAVE TO ME!

    2nd set of cam spots

Ok guys and gals: I posted several weeks ago about having more than one spot to scout with cams. Well I told you I had several spots, here are some of the more than 100 pics I got from this spot over a two week period. I still have other spots to place cams on as well as another SD card to process from another spot. Getting shots like these is the best way I can express the importance to having several locations to scout and ultimately hunt!

    Need Advice!

If you want to error on the side of politness use your own. if you can set it in a good spot.
  12. While I was out Wednesday placing my cams I believe I found the big boy that I missed last Dec. He was with five other bucks, two of which look like they're going to be shooters as well. As I watched them my grin increased in size and so did my feeling this could be my year to get a good buck down! Sorry no pics, I left the long range camera at home.

    Need Advice!

The G&F rules are "FIRST COME FIRST SERVED" if you get there before he does you get the spot.

Here is what I got two weeks ago! Are the bottom photos whitetail? The pics i have show antler growth similar to what soccer star said 2-3 inch stubs. There are still nearly eight weeks left till opening weekend should put the horn on quite a bit if monsoons prevail. The last pic is Mule Deer, I get both at those locations. Yeah right on thats what i thought. Haven't seen any muley growth because Im mostly above 3500 ft they seem to be doing well. What is the coolest thing you've had walk into that waterhole? I have shots of the rancher, bobcat, pigs, coyotes, and 100 cows
