Ya two sleepless nights in a row, hard to take!

I made the long stalk, even had a doe and fawn about 150 yards from the big one and I still managed to get 55 yrds from him. I waited what seemed forever for him to stand, (10 minutes) and when he did I drew back and let him have the Swhacker. He promptly ran off without the arrow, I must has hit leg bone as it only penetrated 4 inches. He will live and I will keep hunting him. The hit took place at 1:53 pm. A sad day for me!!!!!!!!!!!

Twas the nite before deer season and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse, except for the hunter that was excitedly waiting to hunt the big 3x3 he bedded just hours before. HaHa I found a third big buck in the area just before sunset.

I put up my blind for the big two today, checked my cams and all three are blank for bucks of any size. I started plan B this afternoon as I bedded a third big buck as the sun went down. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

Reganranch, I have three cams the oldest is a Moultrie D40 the next is a Stealthcam IR1540 (rogue) ant the newest is a Moultrie D55. They all work great but I think the D55 is the best. I have more deer looking at the IR cam when it goes off that the flash cams. TJ, I think ther might be enough room in my blind if you want to join my attempt to get either of them.

TJ does she shoot much. If not you should stay with a 9MM in a compact version. I would also shoot the PMC starfire ammo, I have it in my 9 and have done ballistic testing on them and they perform great.
