It is a good video. The elk and coues footage is very good. The elk killed are giants. The coues sections have a few giants and some decent bucks as well. Nice kill shots and some frustrating misses. There is one sequence where I wanted to jump through the tv and grab the rifle from the guy. It is definetly worth the $.

My dad got his first coues Sunday morning on the San Carlos. I think he put the bar to high. It will be hard to top this guy. He scored 107 2/8". He shot him with .280 @ 404 yards. He is hooked for life.

I load all of his bullets for him so if he missed he probably would have blamed it on me. He shoots a 140 nosler accubond with 55 grains of RL 19.

I need help with the other two pics. I can not get them small enough. Never mind I figured it out!

270 WSM, 280, 300 win mag any of these rounds can have less recoil than his 243 with the use of a muzzle break. The noise is increased tremendously but you can always carry earplugs. Browning A-Bolts have an option to come with a Boss muzzle break and you can get them in a lot of different calibers. I do not recommend shooting with out ear protection.

That thing has some great width. Beautiful buck!

Once he polished he vanished. We never got another picture of him hard horned. We found all of the other bucks but he gave us the slip. I am headed out this weekend to the area to see if a doe may get him moving.

They are changing it this year. First, they are not allowing guides to put out chairs. They made them take them away today. If a guide buys you a tag you have to have a form notarized and the guide that is on the paper has to be present with you on the hunt. If the guide is not present with you and they check you they will take your tag on spot. They are making it easier for a non tribal member to get a tag. Also a non tribal member can only buy one tag. Unless the 2nd person is a member of your immediate family. You must have proof of that as well. That is what I got from the game and fish department.

A friend of mine saw that buck from 22. He scored 122 and change.

85"-90" good buck in any book.

You could argue on calibers all day. It comes down to what you have seen with your own eyes do a good job. The best coues bullet is the one that you can put in the heart lung area and make a clean kill from a good distance.

Right on man !!!!! When I am hunting or even looking at a magazine and see a big animal harvested by another person I get excited. We all need to stick together as hunters and work to preserve what we have.

I got my mount back last month. It turned out great! I could not have asked for any better. Clay Goldman at Mogollon taxidermy did it for me. He did an awesome job. It scores 109 3/8". Clay scored it and he is an official Boone and Crocket scorer so I guess I will believe him. I highly recomend him for any coues. I will email the pictures to Amanda. I can not get them reduced enough on my camera.

My bull is on the adjacent red wall. I have a spot picked out for my next mount (it is on the red wall too).

37B Javelina HAM hunt and 4A and 4B Turkey. I didn't draw in the fall and drew everything in the spring.

The deer scored 109 3/8". As for the walls well, my wife got to paint the living room red and I get to hang all of my mounts in it.
