Def. get a nikon omega scope with the BDC reticle. It is made for a muzzleloader with a long eye relief and the scope is small. It is a 3X9X40. I have one on my Marlin 45-70 and it is awesome coupled with the lererevolution ammo. The last circle is 300 yards with a 100 yard zero. You can not go wrrong with this combo.

Headed out first thing in the morning. Hopefully get a big breast for the annual contest down here.

I have 2 scopes for sale and they are both used but in good shape. 1. The first one is a Zeiss Conquest 3X9X40 1" tube and the standard Reticle. A few tiny scratches but in great shape. Asking $300 for it. 2. The second one is a Burris Signature Series 3X10X40 1" tube with the Ballistic Plex. A few tiny scratches but in Great shape. It does have a Kenton Industries Elevation Turret as well. Asking $300 for it as well.

Just got the pictures of the 08-09 super raffle bull killed by Robert Dunn guided byMullins outfitters. It is a toad for sure. It is over 400 and I will let Jim tell the rest when he gets home.

Got mine too, they look awesome.

I held the antlers this morning and the bottom bull is him. One of his antlers comes off of his skull six inches below the other. He scored a little over 405". He has unbelievable mass and tine length.

Now that is funny! On the other hand it is a good idea.

Clay is the man and I think your mounts are awesome.

The Dunn's are very good friends and Robert is probably the nicest guy I have ever met. I have been talking to Jake all day and he came home to tie up some loose ends so he was not there to witness the kill. He had told his dad not to shoot anything until he got back on Tuesday (Robert just smiled and said OK). Their whole family is on cloud nine. I could not think of a better guy to win the tag. Congrats to the Dunn's and the Mullins crew. I think an amazing time was had by all.

They killed him yesterday evening and I know Robert got out with his trailer just fine so I don't think it hurt them very much.

You better believe it. It is nasty today but I don't think anybody would pass up this bull to stay cool.

I believe that if it is within the law, let a hunter hunt the way he wants. If he wants to spend 10 grand on every gadget cabelas has, great. If you wanna go straight traditional, right on. If there was a real unfair way of pursuing game it would be illegal or will be soon. So hunt how you want too and have a great time doing it and don't worry about everyone else. Who cares it isn't hurting you or the game one bit. So go have a good time and don't worry about how I kill my game. I am 100% legal and that is what matters. By the way I don't use radios.
