Just got my 2200 the other day ,my first real backpack. What does anyone think of the water bladder that you can get for this Pack. I think it is 90 or 95 Oz's

Anyone Know wheres the best Place to buy a Badlands 2200 pack . The Cheapest I have found is 135.00 plus shipping.

I looked again it's a Hangon Stand I used a magnafinglass to look at the picture.

Thanks I copied what I could find from Cola Blanko and Weller. They mouts give me and my Taxidermist am Idea. I like all the mouts I have seen so far.

I am looking for some Full mout pictures to look at as a guide in my Full body mount. I have some from a Taxidermist on Here, Anyone have some more pictures or a web site that they know of. I like the one's that a Taxidermist on here has done ,but trying to get an over all picture of diffrent types.

Can anyone tell me why ,is there a verying price on Gun Permits in Mexico when you are interested in hunting in the same area . What I mean ,I have checked some of the outfitters on this site and the Hunting Permits very in Price for Sonora. I am looking at doing a Coues Hunt Next year in Mexico 2007-2008

I Know on this site there is some good outfitters But can someone or Has someone put a list togther of Coues Outfitters. I am talking all that can be found . I will put the list together if anyone can give me some names that are not on here .

This list was for my benifit mostly, I understand Like Coueshunter I will do the reserch my self I think there are alot more Outfitters out there, I would like to talk to and Explore. I understand about sponsorship , My fault point taken. I just though that a little help would have been nice.

I have Talked to most of the outfitters on here that would answer me. . I still have some others that I have found. Like anyone or everyyone I want to better my last Buck. My problem is coming from the East Coast the airfare is Crazy, not the cost but the stops that you have to make . I have found , some good Places that are not bad it fly into in Sonora , this is the worst place to fly from the east coast. I don't mind 1 or 2 stops but don't send me to LAX and then into Sonora. I hunted Chihuahua Last time , Found a new Outfitter there but Elhalcon did some Restructuring , Carlos I think is Starting His own Coues Hunting. If someone is Interested I would be Willing to Partner up with someone for next year.

I reload , I shoot Nosler PT at 3400 fps witha 26" barrel . Shoots very well and flat. not as fast as a 257 stw but close. This caliber was made to shoot mule deer , if the bullet is in the right spot it should smoke a coues.

This is what I say about so called Hunts like this. I believe this is not hunting but shooting. You know what kind of animal is there and what size ,because you ordered it that way. They always say in there ads World Record ,not so because it can't be entered in the books that would say it is truly the worlds Record. These kind of Shootng Preserves are for the lazy Deep pocketed people taking the easy way out. I want to say that I worked hard for my animal no matter what size, if he's not big enough I 'll try again.

I was'nt objecting to what they cost I just wanted a truthful answer. I am not new to this game . I know in some parts that an outfitters pays by the animal taken. They do make money or they would not be in busness.The name of the game is to make a livung,when the money is not there it's time to get out.

To a point I thought that was the reason. I wanted to here it from an out fitter . Or maybe something they are not telling us about.

First you need to find out What bullets you will shoot. There are a number of Sites that have balistic calculators that you can use for free. The next is it factory Ammo or are you reloading. Some factory boxes have the Balistics on the box Federal Has this. Also you can go to several Ammo makers Federal , Remington . Winchester. they have the specs on there ammo on their web site.

I am thinking of hunting with aSonorian Outfitter. The outfitter is Mexafari anyone know these people . I started to ask about these people and I found that this is where Amanda Hunted .I saw that she wrote the article about them . I am booking a hunt with them. I found them on another web site and contacted them. I wrote this post then found Amanda's article .Looks like i chose a good place.

Any time that you are looking for a bullet and you are shooting at any long distance look for the Balistic Coeficent the higher the number the better it flys. As in Swift Sciroccos they are a boatail witha high BC. I have had the best luck with then in my .300 WBY in 180 gr at 2900 fps. My longest shot was 415yds on a muley in Montana.

Josh , there is a site that has people write in an tell if they liked an outfitter or not . There are some good write ups and some bad ones on some people. Yours are all good. Don't mean to high jack this thread.

Returned from Mexico the other day. I shot a 94 3/8th coues deer. This is my first coues . My friend and hunting partner shot a 98 2/8th coues. In saw alot of bucks, on the third day I missed a non typical that had a very high rack. The buck was a palmated hand on one side and three long spikes on the other. I shot two inches over his back at 300, no second shot posible. As an easterner I am telling anyone that they don't know what they are in for when they hunt coues for the first time. If someone thinks they can do a sheep hunt they are going to find out how good of shape they are in doing the coues hunt. This was one ofthe toughest hunts I have been on. My Ten inch goat was easer.
