Posting for a friend He's selling his gen 1 Vortex razor spotter. It is the big 85mm objective. It is angled. He just got it back from Vortex to fix the glass, but they didn't fix the chips in the paint. Glass is perfect, chips in the paint are purely cosmetic. $800 obo First time posting pictures not using photobucket so if they don't work let me know.

Sounds like you've got a solid game plan! Best advice I have is get out there, enjoy yourself, and see what works for you and what doesn't. Spot and stalk by yourself can be incredibly tough, I'd recommend putting a buck to bed before you attempt a stalk if you're by yourself.

Would it be bad to build a camera that shoots something at whoever opens it if they don't unlock it a certain way? Pepper spray? .22 round? I'm considering trying to buy or collect as many broken cameras I can get my hands on, setting them up on every water source in 6a with a working camera placed within range and putting some locals on blast for stealing stuff that isn't theirs.
