I actually wanted to put a game and fish sticker on my trail cam because I thought it'd be a great way to stop people from stealing my camera, maybe that's the case? I know they got trail cams over southern AZ trying to get pics of jaguars, mostly around Douglas area

Congrats on the success Jack, sorry to hear about your loss, those type of wake up calls hurt at first but it always works out at the end, that's why I say that god has heck of a plan for me. Keep your head up buddy and keep it rollin

elkhunter replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
It's probably true! A guy killed a 180inch buck near a bank one somewhere in northern Phx some years back with a bow, there's SOME biggun bucks that lives within metropolian areas around Tucson and Phx -

I used to hunt oak/grasslands but it seems like there's more bucks in the desert terrian with Mesquite/Octillios/cactus...this year will be my first year hunting the more desert terrian, so far I like to hike up high and glass the smaller hills below me, hope to kill my first octillo buck this year

The rut this year was pretty low key so most bulls should be 100% intact

How do you prevent lense fogging on bino's
elkhunter replied to royerj1's topic in Optics and tripods
My problem is just the opposite, when I put them up to my eyes they fog up so what I try to do is keep my binocs warm, inside the truck on the way to the hunting ground or if you're just hiking from camp I put them inside my truck and turn on the heater that way the binocs are warm and they don't fog up when i put them up to my head, 35b has alot of moisture right now so it probably fogs up more now than during dry years. -
canelo hills give better glassing opporunities than the huachucas, try to hunt either the canelo hills or the smaller hills at the base of huachuca mtns, try to avoid the east side of the mountains from miller to dry canyon...lots of hunters there, stick to the north and west side around canelo, avoid hunters and have "calmer" deer to deal with, they'll be very scattered due to huge rains out there
