I shot an elk that had a rear leg like the one in the picture, upon skinning her, I found that the scar tissue was around the knee ligaments and really no sign of abnormality with the bones so I assume it was a ligament tear in the back knee. Either that or she's suffering from extreme estrogen and sprouting a single XXL breast

its rough out around Apache maid, lots of pressure there, there are several roads that leads to canyons overlooking the rim area. I know it's early in the season and most of the elk have not migrated yet but there's nice bulls hanging along the rim. Here's a tip, have your pops be prepared to shoot a long ways

After ditching the bad luck bean yesterday, went out today and the truck's running good and was able to glass up a herd of javelina....now it's tough finding them during summer months because they're usually down in the lush green flats, i think it's more lucky to pick up a bean and squash it from now on

This morning I went glassing for coues and when I sat down I saw a red bean which reminded me of Red Rabbit's story from a few years ago. Well I picked it up in hope of bringing me luck and find the 5 bucks I saw yesterday. Those bucks never showed up, found smaller ones all around. I went back to my truck and was driving down hill and my CHECK ENGINE light went on, spent the last 3 hours working on a speed sensor and the transmission. I went inside my backpack, grabbed that red bean and threw it away, don't pick any of em up.

If you can, move the rest forward, gives it more time to drop before hitting fletching. If you are not sure if the fletching are hitting your rest, put some pen makrs on the rest and look at your arrows for pen markings after shooting, that's a sure sign it's hitting your rest. If the arrow is not hitting your rest, you might need to move the rest side to side to align with the string. No one can ever tell you the solution, it's like a cube game, gotta play with it til you get er right

I'm talking to a few of my friends about your binos, one of em got a dec hunt and has no wife and no kids so he just might come around the corner

Craig- yes the unit has gotten rain, steady rain for the past 2 weeks however there has been a lack of flooding so the tanks are still mostly dry or have very few water in them. The steady rain will prove for good grass growth but empty tanks

I already have a pair of 15's and I told many people about this bino, no one wants to take up the offer, I decided it couldnt hurt to have a second set so I can let a friend or family use it when they are helping me out on my hunt. I went to kelly blue book value and found that my truck is valued at $2,200 so I can't make this purchase, dang it! Have you tried selling this bino set on Ebay? These 15's are going for a pretty high rate there around 2K on average, might want to put this bino on there and start at 1850, you just might sell it fast

I bought my 300 win mag when I was 16 yrs old and I had the same thing as you, kicked like a mule and made it hard for me to shoot accurately without flinching. I got a $40 recoil pad on my 300 win mag and the recoil became the same as a .270, I also shot a buddy's 300 win mag with a muzzle break on it and the recoil was similar between my rifle and his. I'd look into a recoil pad first instead of a muzzle break and save yourself some extra cash so that you can invest more into your vortex scope.

I'm starting to believe that high end binos are like bows, they are all different and some people use them better than others. For example, my dad has the Zeiss 15's and swears by them. He can find any critter through those binos and has a difficult time finding critters through my swaro 15's when he borrows them. IT just comes down to however fits you best. I was with casey when we compared swaros to lieca binos and Casey & Red rabbit was seeing a blue hue through the swaros and more color through lieca while I was uncomfortable with the lieca and thought the swaro showed better viewing than lieca. Go test them both and pick something you are most comfortable with and something that you feel you can sit behind for hours. Good luck, tell us the outcome By the way, those 10x42's you sold to me are still turning up critters and I swear by them now!

there's more bucks around and certainly more does around too. Keep working that area and improve glassing and or glass at different angles. Bucks are always there, we just rarely see them. You saw 2 spikes and a real nice 4x4, certainly that means there's some forkhorns and small 3x3's around. If I were you, stick to that same area and glass from different spots, move around a bit, 3 bucks can't fertilize 35 does

I guess it's hard to say, I live down in Sierra Vista and man there are some quality goats in 34B, and they are up in the juniper/oaks and that unit certainly ain't known to be BC country, quite a few goats over 80 and they seem to top out bout 85. I vote for 10 as well for the best BC just because of the high quananity of goats and the high quality, I took picture of a goat that was atleast 18in tall while I was working for AZGFD, some serious bigguns out there. I guess I am saying it really comes down to how often you scout. Anyone can kill a 100 inch coues buck in any unit in Arizona, it just comes down to your scouting effort. IF I were you I'd put in for 10 for first choice and figure out what unit is known to be 2nd-5th best in the state for BC bucks and have that one as your second choice. Seriously good luck to you!
