I remember several years ago a member posted a website where we can look up information on how much rainfall certain areas has gotten. I can't remember the company but I think it was a federal website. I've tried to find it on the internet and couldnt pull anything out of it. Anyone know what I am talking about? It's similar to USGS water flow website but instead for rainfall.

Great forum you guys have going. I'm not a large guy but at 6 ft tall and always between 170-190 lbs I had a good challenge this past year and it was to cut fat loss, after 12 weeks I saw a significant change but was able to maintain my weight at 175 and increase my bench, squat and push-up numbers, I do have pictures but not sure if shirtless pictures are acceptable on this website! My main goal was to cut fat content to make it easier to hike the hills and mostly to enjoy my fall/winter hunting being more fit than I have in the past, I enjoyed reading all the posts, some of you are makin great progress and it sure ain't easy!

Had a good season with the ham hunt. I had to work Friday but pops was out in the field already. He chased 3 pigs Friday morning with no success. I arrived near the camp just before sunset and glassed up a herd roughly two miles out and developed a plan for Saturday morning. Sat morn came around and pigs were no where to be found. We decided to loop around and hike to the top of the hill hoping to find the pigs. Once at the top we found the herd at the base of the mountain and we moved down. The pis were squirrely and wouldn't stay still so we ranged em at 152 yards and the pistol barked, our first pig was down, congrats to dad! He made a perfect shot and our pistol was zeroed in a 100 yards. Sat evening resulted in no pigs found. Sunday morning we headed to a glassing spot where we can glass for miles. I found another herd about a mile and half out and we made our move. Again these pigs are highly pressured and wouldn't stay still, took a while but finally had a shot opportunity at 92 yards and put this pig down. Fun hunt! We stayed out all day Monday just for the heck of it. Neither pig had an exit wound and the Hornady sst 55grn 223 made excellent damages in the pigs breaking shoulders.

I think I have done worse! This pig was at 35 yards and looked normal sized to me, oops! Nice shot on your pig!!! I had a mile hike back and carried this pig like a duffle bag in my hand.

Its a great lake for kayaking, the fishing there is always fair to good. Not too long ago a friend pulled a 4lb bass out of the lake. The trout fishing is still good, use power bait if you want to catch a bunch in medium depth water. Trolling always worked good but difficult to catch a limit. Its a high desert lake with plenty of fun things to do. Hope you go and enjoy! We killed it there this past winter fishing for trout. In June/July Parker is one of the best places to go fly fishing for bluegill/red ear and green sunfish, given its a small lake and easy to use a float tube there.

$65 sounds about right! Man thats pretty cheap for a 16x bino!

Dad had an archery tag and both of us had a ham tag and I had a rifle tag. Each pig had a great story behind it and finding the pigs this year was not an issue in southern arizona. We did have quite a bit of competition on the rifle hunt (15 hunters in a very small area) but was still able to pull it off by targeting the area that the pigs go to when they have been pressured.

How much did I sell it for? I think it was like 75-85 dollars right?

Havasu- it is a 223 caliber with 55 grn Hornady sst, it's deadly out to 200 yards! I feel like I was bending the rules for the ham hunt and reminded myself that muzzaloaders can shoot that far too. Got coues- tha pair was getting old! Glad to know it got used well! I purchased that pair in 2002 I believe!

My wife got offered a large promotional job with the DOD in Spokane Washington, we planned for me to stay in Sierra vista for one more year to pay mortgage off to where we have no more mortgage insurance. I am looking to rent our 2 rooms at $550 each. The house is brand new, grass yard with pavers and trees, kitchen had stainless steel appliances. There's a den that is not used and is free for renters. The price of $550 also includes all utilities, gas, electric, satellite tv, wi-fi, water and trash.

If you plan to do a lot of walking don't use wac ema, I have had bad experience with them while stalking pigs, the head got loose and blades fell out, slick tricks are excellent not for penetration but for blood loss due to 4 blades, Bottom line Casey, u got a sweet tag! Drop $200 on different broadheads and see what your bow likes best because shot placement is most important, if field tip flies best for you then use that (just kidding)
