Twenty-two CFP waters received the first summer stocking of catfish on March 21, and a second stocking was completed on April 4. View the full article

<p>Through April, the Arizona Game and Fish Department will be stocking up to 500,000 fry of Florida-strain largemouth bass into Roosevelt Lake in an effort to boost the fishery. The first stocking of about 275,000 fry was Tuesday.</p> <p> </p> View the full article

Unseasonably hot temperatures that are coming this weekend, coupled with the full moon that began Feb. 13, should trigger more largemouth bass to move into shallower waters to feed and, in some cases, to spawn. View the full article

Apache Lake is a great fishing-camping spot. Anglers can catch smallmouth and largemouth bass, as well as yellow bass. With some luck, an angler can hook into a pesky, and tasty, walleye. Apache is being stocked until Feb. 10 with rainbow trout. View the full article
