Talk about baiting, I can't remember them ever putting it out there like this and the results not being there.

Wouldn't you just love to take them peta/celebs, pam anderson and alicia silverstone. I think as a hunter and a person with morals I wouldn't force anybody to do anything they didn't want to, but they sure think it is ok to try to force other people into doing what they want. As far as a celebrity to hunt with I think I would choose former diamondback brian anderson, or the rockies todd helton, My dad would be my first choice of anybody though.

I can guarantee that if I was camping and that thing came into my camp it would get shot, and I would swear I killed the chupacabra.

My wife wants to plan something in sept., but I keep telling her she has to wait for the results in case I get an elk tag so she can plan around that, she does not hunt, but they are making her wait too, so now she asks about every other day if I have heard anything.

This is the hardest time of the year, you don't know if you've been drawn, there is no football, it is about 9000 degrees outside ( and I work in it ), and you don't know if you've been drawn yet ( its worth mentioning again ). I am guessing that we will know on the 22nd around 1:30, but my brother was at the game and fish office on friday and and they told him that they do not see the results coming early this year, I hope that is just them covering their rears, Good Luck to all.

Thank You Amanda for deleting that, sorry something like that had to take you away from your work. I suppose there really is no way to stop that sort of stuff, but is it possible for you to trace where it came from, and maybe this person could face charges, I would think that sort of stuff has to be illegal.

I could'nt get on there either, until they post the results we are all going to be like a bunch of kids ( are we there yet ). It's worth it since were all going to be drawn.

I just hope she digs deep enough to put her and her son in the hole and bury them. I hope they never let him out either, it seems to me like every child molesting case that has made the news recently has been from a known sex offender, that sob in idaho was out on bail, the judge that allowed that ought to be in jail now, let him tell that little girls dad how he wasn't a danger to society, or he could be rehabilitated, that is a bunch of bs, all convicted child molestors need to be disposed of permanantly, and quickly. This is a sad day and age when this crap happens, the screwed up part about it would be if a parent caught someone with one of their kids and took justice into their own hands they would be on trial, and if it was me it would be murder, or more hopefully justifiable homicide..

az4life the question might be if there was a fire beyond her house would she open it, or allow the area to burn, I would hope the firefighters could get through no matter what.

I took mine at deer valley high school and it was taken during a class at school, I doubt that would ever happen now, but it was a great deal, they came to our class and when they were done we took the test, I actually took my shotgun to school and rode a bus to ben avery with it to shoot trap and skeet for a field trip. Good luck finding a class you can take, I will be going through it in a few years when my kids get a little older.

I have heard of one guy who was planning on packing in overnight, and had three or four people start to follow him when he left his truck, they were wearing shorts and carrying pots and pans to make noise, apparently the hunter decided to let them follow and not say a word, when it got dark and he started to make camp they came to him for help, he told them to keep their distance from him, after it got late he snuck out, the next afternoon when he reached his truck to load up their vehicle was still there. I can't remember exactly where I heard this story and it could be crap, but I have always kind of believed it and kind of hoped that if people don't want to hunt then they should leave the people that do alone or the same kind of thing could happen to them. Me personally I think after about 1/4 of a mile of somebody following me they just might get their rear kicked. Like I said this is hearsay, and I think I was in high school when I heard it.

I have been watching this fire blow up all morning, it now looks completely out of control, and very bad.

I read that it was in the pine mtn wilderness yesterday, and it is moving toward black canyon city pretty fast, at least that is what it looks like to me, channel five was filming from anthem way and I-17 today, I don't know how far north it has got but it appears to be going wherever it wants. Unit 21 was my second choice , I am glad it wasn't my first, but I would still be happy with that tag as long as the fire gets stopped before it burns the entire unit. It is weird to look in that direction at night and see the mountains framed in fire. God help those that are fighting it and are in its path.

Thanks for the help az4life, I was told those choppers were filling up every five minutes, and it took only about 30 seconds for the one with the hose to fill up.
