I had heard that they were, but never checked since I don't use them when hunting, I did know that it would get sorted on here though, I think each person knows in his heart what is ethical or not, if its legal and you abide by the law and hunt the way you want, and feel good about the results it is probably ethical, to each his own. I think all of you guys have great points, and our all within the law so just hunt and have fun, common sense and safety is all you really need, for the most part. Treestandman I got a trail cam a few weeks ago and was just waiting for the draw results before setting it up, but I kind of look at it like fishing(catch and release), I want to see what is in the area, and it gets me and my son out in the woods. By reading that I would also think that some bow sights would fall under that too, aren't there some bow sights with electronic lighting. I think it looks like lawyers have gotten into everything, too many rules and not enough rules, politicians and lawyers deciding for us how to hunt and it will only get worse if we let it.

I don't see how it could be enforced, I just wouldn't want to tell a game warden that I guided somebody into a deer with a radio if it was illegal, there are a few wardens out there that take the laws to the extreme. I think most people who carry radios just carry them so they know each others location, right, even if you might just mention that there is a deer fifty yards to their left, that is for their protection from a wild animal.

Somebody needs to whoop this guys a$$, these hand slaps aren't stopping him from anything, thats like telling somebody they can't drive and taking their license, wait a minute they do that too don't they, this guy needs to be in jail for a while, and pay some fines, then we'll cut off his trigger fingers.

What radios, just kidding, I thought they were illegal to be used to guide somebody to an animal while hunting, but I could be wrong, I would check the regs. just to be sure.

Doug can you still camp off A-1 mountain road, the last time I was up there it looked like they were starting a housing development in there, I hadn't been around there since the late 80's, but there used to be a lot of deer in that area. I think there are some places around mountainaire that you could camp, the last time I was up there when it was wet the roads were pretty bad, the guys that live up there might know better than me. David if I was you I would get up there and scout you out a few places to camp, and then you can also check into storage too, I can think of worse ways to spend a day or two. Sounds like a good problem to have.

Diamondbackaz that was posted on here last year too, I forget what it was posted under, but it is still a cool video. Did you happen to read the comments for that video, there are some sick people out there, I swear there are people in this world that think everybody should be exactly the same as them, lets see, never eat meat, don't cut down trees, don't ruin the environment(I suppose that means to live in caves and not have electricity)and only if the caves are already there because god help you if you dig them, you can't plant nothing because it might alter the local plant species, so I guess you would have to pick food from plants that were already there and bearing fruit, you shouldn't eat roots because that would mean killing the plant that is attached, etc.....There are extremes to everything and most of those freaks only want to go to the extremes that are good to them, most of the people in peta probably are driving suv's or sports cars, live in mansions, and treat normal people like crap unless there is a camera around.

Allen it sounds like somebody just doesn't like you down there, I feel the same way about elk, I think I have been putting in for eight years and have never been drawn, and up until two years ago I put in for cow hunts as my second choice, I put in for archery hunts or muzzleloader, maybe our luck just sucks, but for you it almost sounds personal, I hope you archery hunt.

Reddog I used a service like that probably about 4-5 years ago, I can't remember the name though, check the prices and see how much they charge, check the price of topo maps, check with the guys on here, if it isn't to pricey it is probably worth it, and then just scout the areas, that you like on the topos. I wouldn't go anywhere without scouting or having someone with me that knows the area, otherwise about the time you start to find whatever your looking for your hunt could be over. What unit are you needing this for.

Predator do a search on the cave creek complex fire and you should get some info, it was in unit 21 and burned I think 250,000 acres or there about. As far as the catfish tag, I think someone needs to stock some of them asian giant ones over here, it will fit right in with the gray wolf hybrid, the condors, the gators and all the other species that they keep introducing or re-introducing, I am surprised they haven't tried to re-re-introduce the camels in az.

I am sure they make them or it could be made pretty easy, but when the monster buck steps out are you going to be able to turn it on.

I put the computer in my truck in the morning and link up, then I log on to cw.com, I check the site throughout the day off and on, I also check while I am at home, so I pretty much have no life, my wife just asks if I am on the hunting site again. My kids love the pictures that you guys post though, and with very little going on right now I am on here any chance I get.

Predator I think rembrandt keeps track of all deer in 23, if there are any there they must be passing through, at least thats what they say, maybe the fire in 21 moved a few big ones in there, I am sure rembrandt will let us know the official deer numbers for 21. The 6a bull tag is a very good tag. Ernesto I also got the trophy catfish tag, and it is good year round, but must be renewed every january.
