Did the fifth one get eaten.

Just like Stanley said, if you know MuleyMan it is probably on the strip. Did you get an elk tag Chris, or are you waiting for the deer draw, to put in for that Big Mule Deer tag. Good Luck to you and God Bless

How much were the five hot chicks paid to call 942-3000 and let that guy know his results before they left. The guy just used them and threw them to the curb.

Why you and not me?
KGAINES replied to Ernesto C's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Drawn archery bull elk, protestant (pentecostal), found out about 11:00 a.m. Somebody loves me -
How many people are going to have carpal tunnel syndrome after today. There are going to be nightmares and all you're going to hear is beeeep beeeeep beeeeep beeeep, waking up in a cold sweat only to call the number in the middle of the night just to make sure you got drawn, or to see if the you were not drawn might have been a mistake. Just to think we get to do this all over again in a few months, I am going to put in for an Oct. coues tag and I won't have to worry about it then.

Their server would crash or it would work really slow.

19A archery Bull

I just called and asked, they told me sometime next week.

http://www.hitsunlimited.com/cgi-bin/100to...top.cgi?ID=1279 It looks like we are #14 right now, I can see that even lower with the draw results hanging out there.

I don't know if the AZGFD wants hunters at the expo that don't know the results or hunters that didn't get drawn, I would think they would want the results out so there are a few happy people out there. Now my idea would be to guarantee the results are out on Monday or Tuesday next week, but if you go to the expo they will look up your results in their database for a small fee right there.
-
I believe that would have been a draw results day, and there are a lot of guests that visited that day. I am not sure and Maybe Amanda can say, but I think the number was higher years ago and the website crashed or was hacked and some info was lost, I could be wrong.

AZ Elk and Antelope Draw Date
KGAINES replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
With todays technology they should be able to have a text or email sent with draw results to hunters that give that info to them, they could even charge a fee if you found out prior to everyone else and people would pay. It would suck to pay a few extra dollars to get that text that says for elk 2009 not drawn. That would help the economy a little, all the cell phone companies would be replacing broken phones that people threw. -
AZ Elk and Antelope Draw Date
KGAINES replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Well we know with the budget that they aren't going to work any overtime to get these out, but if I was in charge of the draw and had my number in the bucket ( if I wasn't cheating), I would be staying late just to get it done. That is why the person in charge of that automatically gets first choice of a tag, plus the AZGFD has to have access to their bank accounts to make sure there is no bribary going on, then when it is done they get to have a polygraph test to make sure they did everything honestly. The results should come out at midnight so they could us all up every night just to call. Good luck in the draw everyone. -
Thanks for sharing your trip, great story.

If that would have been the first post this thread would have been very very short.

I received a letter from a U.S. Rep. and she said she didn't see that going anywhere.

How Many Times did you Call Today?
KGAINES replied to GameHauler's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I think Lark already tried that a few years ago. -
I hope I don't offend when I say this, but this is my opinion. The only reason you see religions defended is because they are of man. I don't need to defend God! I really don't much care for churches, they are a place for fellowship which is good for some, but not for me. My heart is where I believe God is with me, I believe God is all powerful and needs no defense, man does, a church does, a religion does, God doesn't; God will defend me, God will comfort me, God doesn't ask nothing of me but my faith, all others do. This is a prayer forum, isn't it for us to ask of each other to ask God to help us or someone in need, as I said, God needs no defense from man, he needs faith. I have lots of faults, but I believe in God with all my heart, and that is all I think I need.

Somewhat close could be Lake Pleasant it is ok, Bartlett or the river between Horshoe and Bartlett hold some large Cats, channel and flatheads, I hear they are catching a lot at Alamo, but that is a little further out. If I had to go and I was targeting Catfish without a boat it would be the river between Horshoe and Bartlett, and if you don't have a four wheel drive I would try the spillway where you could park and walk down without risk of getting stuck. With a four wheel drive there are a lot of places with roads leading to them. They are really letting the water out of Horshoe right now, but they usually slow it down on the weekends, if it is high like it is right now it is tuogh fishing and near impossible to cross to get to some spots. Look for flows under 300 for the best fishing in my opinion at that spot on the verde. Good Luck Salt river project
