Ok I went out there and the gates were closed, it said members only, Peoria Rod and Gun Club (623)214-2560, from where I was at I could see the ranga and there was also a two target archery range. It looked as if they were still using it and it looked to be maintained pretty well, I will probably give them a call being as how close it is to me, I had completely forgot about it until you brought it up. Quick directions are south on 163rd ave off of grand and go left at the three way, right on the dirt road and right to the range which you can see from the road, total it is less than a mile from grand ave.

A camo shirt with black lettering, it would be hard to read and yet would probably be a good selling item to hunters. If you go with the Lark idea I would go with black lettering, black picture, and black shirt, and I would shade everything else with black.

We had something and thought it was fair, 10%, and that was only for bull elk, and deer north of the colorado, but a greedy outfitter and his lackey had to screw it up for everybody. I am a native and haven't drawn an elk tag in 8 years of putting in, a couple of times cow elk was my first choice, but I can archery hunt for deer every year without being drawn and as far as I know so can every non-resident that wants to, so as far as I am concerned just deal with it. I can tell you that my son will hunt with a bow, simply because at this point I can guarantee that he can hunt, but if a kid goes for years with someone telling him he can do something (elk hunt) and then he can't, they might just give up. I hope it gets better for the kids, I hope that the kids that start putting in when they're 10 don't finally get a tag when they are 15 to 20. Sorry for rambling, Good luck and God bless.

I have a question about badgers maybe you guys/gals can answer. Up until a few months ago I had seen four badgers alive or dead in my life (35yrs), in the last two months or so I have seen four dead on roads, and they all appear to be fully grown. Is it due to all the rain this year, or maybe I haven't been paying attention over the last few decades.

I can think of a lot of things I would rather fight, at least there were two of you and one had a shovel, you guys may have had a very slight advantage. I think Lark needs to tell us how you should of done it. The only live ones I have seen were while dove hunting and I didn't mess with them.

I have seen most in 42m, the most recent about a mile from my house.

The one new thing that I will be carrying this year that I haven't carried in three years is a any antlered tag in a mule deer unit (17A).
