Congrats on what looks like a great trip, God Bless You My friend. -
http://www.azgfd.gov/artman/publish/article_559.shtml I hope all these activist who beg and plead for these wolves and all the other stuff that is done with non-game animals actually remember that it is the hunters who are paying for the majority of this stuff, at least that it the way it looks to me.

azcamohead I agree with you on the paper app. and paying up front, I like the idea of paying up front to begin with whether it is paper or online. I will still apply if they raise the fees because I love to hunt and try to budget it into my year, but the people it will hurt the most are the average hunters or the hunting families, it might also turn off the people that are just getting into hunting. The one group of people it will not hurt are the ones that use companies like uso and the wealthy, these people have money and price doesn't matter to them, uso would be behind you one hundred percent in this because it is going to increase the odds of all of their customers which means more money for them. Game and fish will still sell their full allotment of tags and they will make more money than ever and we will still be on here pissing and moaning about what tag we can never draw and how our bonus points system sucks and how the system is corrupt, and it will be a never ending process that we will deal with year after year. Good luck to all who drew and for those that didn't Good luck and I hope I see you during archery season. -

Bass that shouldn't be a problem, that was what they did last year. -

The fire from a few years ago was an SRP tranformer sub station, it is about a half mile from my house and I have aps. I wish they had to compete for customers, I wish we could choose who we want as our electrical supplier, but the good news is that we have a nulear power plant just out of the valley that supplies California. They get the power and we get the price increases and nuclear liability. -
Those kifaru packs look like they would be hard to beat, but its probably just like anything else if you like it and it fits you it is probably what you should get.

I am going to buy some for my 45/70 and see how they shoot, that is my favorite round and this could make it even better.

After thinking about it AZGFD would not allow it unless they raised tag fees, and you still had to apply for your bonus points in the waiting years so that they could still get their money. Then if we still complained they would make it three or four years with the same rules and that is a bad thing, we do not want them to know that we will pay every year for nothing. I have never been drawn for elk my first choice is an archery tag in 6a, this year my second choice was an any elk tag in a limited opp hunt, last year it was a fringe tag, the year before that it was a limited opp. hunt and all the previous years it was a cow tag. After I get my bull tag whenever that may be a cow tag will be my second thru fifth choice again. I really wouldn't mind if it was 40 or 50 percent to the people with the most bonus points, but the rest of the people should have a shot every year, if they want to apply for the early bull tags they will probably wait for years, if they don't there will be a chance every year. We have archery deer and turkey plus bear coming up and all of us have that opportunity, it should take the sting away a little bit. Good Luck and God Bless

Lark I suspect if you give shroufe the same treatment as the warden on the 101 you might get the sheep tag, you would just have to promise to never do it again. Seems to fit the once in a lifetime rule.

Not pets, they are fair game.

Ernesto wear ear plugs, on second thought after the fifth or sixth shot it won't matter.

I have never been drawn for elk, so I don't know about once in a lifetime, I would like to hunt them more than once, but the system is flawed, this year I had 9 points, my first choice was 6A archery bull, and my second choice was a limited opp. any elk tag. Up until a few years ago cow was always my second choice so I think I am really really unlucky when it comes to elk, as far as deer, I have had a tag every year, oct. coues hunts are 3 thru 5 and sometimes my second choice. If i got a bull tag I would gladly wait a couple of years, but it would have to be a law, and a penalty like no license for a year or two and that species off for 5 years for those that apply for bull when they are on the 2 year off list.

mulie hunter I have seen some in the parker canyon lake area, I have seen them from parker canyon lake all the way to the coronado memorial, watch out for the US/ Mexican border south of the lake, it is closer than you think and isn't well marked, south of the lake I have seen a few but that is the grasslands where you will also find antelope, there are also mulies in that area too. Good Luck
