Ok I get home from work and I discover a new tribe has been found in the AZ desert, they ran from the water hole so it was hard to get close to them. I do have some pictures to post though. The kid is looking for his next meal in the last picture, he saw survivorman and decided to eat a grasshopper, his cousin gave me all the details about the grasshopper being ate. Summer is definately here.

They do have a pool though, but when your seven mud is just way more fun I am told. Bad part is tuesday afternoon the boy slipped off the trampoline and cut his leg open, six stitches and no water fun for at least seven days. His words were; it ain't fair they can swim while I am sewed up.

One of the girls I used to train with is fighting on foxsports tonight. Elena Reid It is just boxing though, when we were training she was a kickboxer.

I don't have any I sold them all . WE ALL HAVE TO FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT TO OWN GUNS. We also have to remember that figures can lie and liars can figure, so for every article for there is one against and there are figures to back up each one. One difference for us is the constitution, we have the right to own guns and we just need to maintain that right, it has been that was for over two hundred years and it needs to be that way forever.

They were going to allow anyone with a tag to hunt, as a matter of fact you can still hunt turkey during the elk season as long as you have a turkey tag, and you do not need an elk tag. They were trying to create a mixed game hunt, they thought people wouldn't mind having the seasons overlap. If you go to the azdeer.org site you can watch the video of the commission meeting where this discussion took place and if there would not have been an outcry by the hunters at that meeting they would have left the seasons open for anyone with a deer tag.

I think the super raffle is great, it generates a ton of money, and anyone can win. I don't have a problem with the auction tags either, but this is a tag that an average hunter can get, and that is not to mention that even if you have already had a sheep or buffalo tag you can still win. Congrats to all the winners, have a great year of hunting.

The Center for Biological Diversity is the firm listed in the lawsuit the lawyer is from tucson, Erik B. Ryberg. They do not want tanks in there period, it is mentioned in the lawsuit that these tanks will allow predators to expand their range into the area and that would hurt the bighorn sheep population, it is also mentioned that there would be ravens which could affet the desert tortoise population, and in the next paragraph it mentions how it makes it easier for hunters with the water holes. The groups listed in my above post aren't anti hunting groups when you read their websites, they are more the tree hugger greenie types, but they are allying themselves with anti groups for this. We need to fight this to the end, whatever their reasoning behind this is, I see it as wrong and it is bad for all parties in the end if they win.

Congrats on the turkey. That tornado was absolutely devastating, had to be a little eerie. http://www.hdnews.net/photo/galleries/gree...ker/index.shtml

One other quick thing to add, if you are over here working on a visa, you can't have gov't. assistance, no welfare or food stamps, no medical care unless it is employee provided, you made the decision to come here and work, not me, I don't like helping the non workers here much less adding foriegn non workers. The gov't has the welfare system wrong, if you get a job and make 7 or 8 bucks an hour and keep your job they should help you out, if you sit at home and expect to get paid you shouldn't get a darn thing.

When there are 10 guys with the same name and ssn and they all work for different companies the irs can figure out somethings up, is stealing a ssn a federal offense, if it is then the fbi can go check all of these guys and round up the 9 that are not who they say they are and they can check the tenth and see if it was stolen or given. Then if the employer rehires or finds a way to circumvent the system they should be punished, another thing to ask is will the laws only be enforced against businesses that Americans are willing to work at or are they going to bust the farmers who hire out to pick watermelons, onions, roses, and all the other jobs that Americans won't do. While their at it they should drug test all the people on welfare, don't pass don't get your check and food stamps, and were taking your kids, I have to pass a drug test to work and pay into the welfare system, plus take care of my own family. Another thing they can do is take all of these prisoners and make them take up the slack for the illegals that leave, oh wait we can't do that that would be against their civil rights and jesse and al would be out there protesting up a storm, plus we have to remember most of these low lifes are in prison because they didn't work in the first place, they just stole from us plus took welfare. If their are Mexicans out there willing to do work that Americans won't do, we should figure out a way to get them visas and allow them to work, allot the farmers a certain amount of visas yearly and allow them to hire needed laborers, I would bet they would rather have them working for them than some lazy convicts anyways. We have become a society of ceo's, everyone wants to be hired at the top, kids drop out of high school and think that 7 or 8 bucks an hour isn't worth working for, momma do this and mooma do that, they take from parents that either don't have it or are barely making it and assume that is the way it should be, or the best one is the ones who take from the parents that never had it and agree with the kids your right son they shouldn't require a drug test to be a truck driver, I mean you only smoke pot, and you only sold coke, you wouldn't have to if they would give you a job. This politically correct bullshit that we have been passing off for years now as the way we have to be, treat everybody good, don't say nothing bad is so much crap that it makes me want to puke, everyone has an excuse, race, gender, sexual orientation, where you grew up, no one wants to say I made the dang decision and I will live with it, I will do the best that I can and I will give my kids the chance to do better. Sorry I was all over the place, but a lot of these issues piss me off. Sorry if I offended anyone

$2,000 reward bighorn sheep poaching
KGAINES replied to cmc's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Killing a bighorn doesn't happen by accident, it sure isn't self defense, and he didn't feed his or her family with the meat, this person needs to be fully prosecuted and there should be no leniency whatsoever. -

Is there a topic posted now that would cause it, New Mexico draw maybe. It must not be the everyone is sick of hearing about elk tags topic or they wouldn't be here. Looking at the last click it appears that all the guests are looking at a lot of different topics.

I wanted Joe to win the whole thingand was shocked to see him knock Pulver out, I do think he would have won with better coaching, BJ and Jens are fighters not coaches though Jens has done well. I really could have cared less who won between Manny and Nate, but after Karo came in talking all that crap and trying to call that kid out I am behind Nate now. It really should be some good fights, BJ is looking for revenge for sure.
-
There should be some good fights, a lot of the undercard has the other ultimate fighters that lost previously. I hope Nate beats Manny and BJ beats Jens, tall order there though.

I worry about giving up anything we have right now, once its gone we will never get it back. If we take away deer baiting or salt, how long will it be before you aren't allowed to hunt over water, and don't say that is taking it to the extreme because twenty years ago nobody was worried about it and we probably should have been. If we start allowing the loss of hunting because certain methods work better than others how long before calling of any kind becames illegal, it sure helps with elk and predators, if we give up something just to keep something else we are losing, we have to fight to keep what we have or else we lose. The azgfd and the commission want to create more opportunity, but at what cost, some of these changes that are forced on us because a survey says so sucks, because a survey can be skewed by the creator to show exactly what is wanted in the first place. It was mentioned last night that the draw process is a survey in itself, people apply for the quality hunts because that IS what they WANT. I will say everyone wants to hunt and so yes the leftovers are picked up. I just think we need to be real careful how we allow this to proceed, some changes are good, some are not, and even if they aren't they usually don't get fixed they are just manipulated to show that it is right, and they already have a survey to prove it. Tony I will try to get you the ADA membership total. I will say that what the ADA does for deer and habitat in AZ is beyond words.

From what I heard and read the group of houndsmen got together with this proposal of three months to appease the anti's, I don't know if there was pressure from azgfd or not, or if they figured this was a peace offering, but the houndsmen did come up with this proposal that we got. I don't think anything short of a complete ban would appease the anti's so I wouldn't have given them anything, they would have had to fight for it. They may know something we don't, I hope they made the right choice. Amanda might have more information on this, or maybe there is a houndsmen that was a party to the discussions. I seem to remember a thread where this was discussed prior to the commission meeting that had more info, I don't think it has anythint to do with New Mexico though.
