Send a pm to TLH, in the meantime I will get you some info for it, you might find it just by checking his profile. Terry is a big part of that and will get you any info you need.

You are right, I just read about it right here, but this could easily be very bad publicity to hunters in general. You have to worry about a few calls of protest to the governor and what are the implications of that, not to mention that this whole mike vick dogfighting thing going on and it seems like every other person talking about it mentions hunting in the same sentence. We have a hard enough time fighting just to keep what we got, we don't need to give our opponents more ammo and let them recruit fence sitters and non hunters to their side. I really hope these stories are wrong and there is another side to this.

I seen a mule deer fawn that had been hit by a car near gila bend yesterday, surprised me for that area.

"Big game" hunting
KGAINES replied to MARV's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Mister brad have you ever left Tempe, there are more rabbits out there than can be counted, and in certain places they are considered a pest for destroying crops. So if you are a vegetarian and you aren't growing your own food, you are buying from farmers that are probably killing more rabbits and other small animals than hunters do. After reading a few of your posts I now know that you live in fantasy land, where there is nothing bad or wrong, except for honest law abiding sportsmen that own guns and hunt a few times a year to spend some time with family, enjoy the outdoors, and get to eat some wild game that is better than any processed or farm raised animal. -
Yes, but when the 2nd amendment has failed us time after time with murder, maybe its time change it like many amendments have been changed before. By the way I went studied goverment at ASU and the only reason that law was written, was to protect us from the British if we ever needed to again! I think we are safe now. NO MORE GUNS. "The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good." George Washington When brad becomes more noted than George Washington I might listen to him, until then shut up when you are spewing useless info that only you and a few other left wing idiots believe.

I forgot to say thanks for the photos and the details Amanda, very sad.

Right there is where hunters get stereotyped as killers, when in all reality sportsmen put more time, money, and effort into preserving game and habitat than peta or the humane society even thought of, and it pisses them off when they see the results from our efforts.

Pit bull vs Porcupine
KGAINES replied to GameHauler's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
After seeing what Vick has done I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't own porcupines just for that purpose. He is freaking sick and I hope he spends as much time as they can get him in prison. I don't wish torture on any animals. -
Is that the name of Dana White's corporation. I was under the impression that he owned both pride and UFC.

You just need to pretend that isn't a real number, I mean it is measured in % right. They will have to recheck the survey data, because it can't be wrong.

I went down to the Dillon Precision in Scottsdale when I was looking into reloading and they were very helpful and had all I needed right there. I had no idea about reloading, when I left their store I felt pretty good about using the machine I purchased. If you have someone who knows what they are doing and already has a set up then you might want to test it out and have them give you some advice as well. As far as price goes I have no idea what the comparisons are, I had a friend that sent me to the Dillon store And to be honest I haven't had a problem yet. When it comes to reloading on this site Doug seems to me to be about the most informative so his advise should be checked out for sure.

Every year or sometimes twice a year this topic comes up and we start bashing each other on how to hunt. First if its a legal way to hunt, hunt and have fun. Second have respect for other people that are hunting, I don't think salt allows you to own the property it is on, but it does show that someone has put some effort into a spot and it wouldn't hurt to talk to them or move a little, that being said we don't all want to run out and grab a bunch of salt and create ourselves a bunch of "honey holes", that is being kind of selfish. Also a confrontation over a spot could turn out very badly and in no way is it worth it since most folks now days don't settle anything with fists, and I am pretty sure someone would get a lawyer involved and that would probably lead the way to screw it up for everyone. The third thing is water is first come first serve, if someone is there leave and be as quiet as possible, thats what you would want them to do for you. m77 you brought up Dr. Suess and to my recollection this whole topic sounds a little like green eggs and ham, I don't like to hunt in a box for a fox I don't like it sam I am. I think the note to your Grandson will be appreciated by him as he grows up, well written. To all out there have fun and hunt, be safe, and God Bless. One quick thing to remember the game and fish have mentioned getting rid of baiting and salt for all, ranchers would still be allowed. I don't use salt, but I would fight this rule because what they take away we very rarely if ever get back, and slowly but surely there are more rules against all of us hunters, and we don't need them.

It looks like parts availability wouldn't be a problem. You can bet that thing won't be ridden to any tree hugger type convention. Whoever is on that bike does need to stay away from this one.

This lady didn't just get fired from NASA did she, sure sounds like she needs mental help. I missed why the wolf was shot, and didn't it say she took the wolf, what happened to the wolf after she left the "altercation", shouldn't she have turned it in to someone. fatfootdoc you bring up another point, who in their right mind would shoot someone over a wild animal, if what they did was wrong document it and turn them in, and if they find out she was lying she needs to be fired, you have four men and one lady and they pull a gun, I don't think so.

I don't have first hand knowledge of this machine, but I have worked on electric carts over the years and they are ok as long as you are close to a charging source. Most of the new carts are 48 volts and their main purpose is for golf courses, and at a golf course 36 holes with two riders about wears them out, that is with one motor, these machines have two so it would probably wear out faster. Bombardier had a 72 volt car out for a while and it still might be, but it had the same drawbacks, the batteries wore down pretty quick with continuous use. To me the only thing you gain with this is it is quiet, but once you walk 1/4 of a mile from the machine it probably doesn't matter anyway.

Happy Birthday, Have a great year and God Bless. -
bobbyo the tat is typical redneck, if you look close you will see KNIX in the middle, my nephew was real happy it could be seen in the picture. The weed that is in front of the "pond" is a dandelion I think it sure isn't anything else. COOSEFAN the "pet cemetary" is at least thirty feet away, but I am hoping that a certain gopher gets trapped or goes for his last swim in there. Neither one of those kids have ever been sunburnt, even towhead, and they are outside almost all the time, they get very bored with video games or tv pretty quick, and all they wear are shorts if that while they are outside. I remember growing up we never had sunscreen and never got sunburnt, when I got older and was told how bad the sun is for me is when I started getting sunburnt. I buy the sunscreen, but thruthfully the boys rarely use it.
