He is probably one of the biggest supporters of sportsmen we have, if not the biggest in the legislature. Some on the commission might see it as a threat and will never vote to support any bill with term limits, license or political party requirements, I also didn't see where it was a fishing or a hunting license, it was a hunting or combo license, its just the wording and it can be amended, but some fishermen might have taken offense as not being seen as equals. I don't know the status of our current commissioners as far as what they might see as a threat to their jobs, but it is good to put a little doubt about whether or not they can continue when they finish their term, no matter who the Governor is. Plus the legislature don't need the commissions approval to vote one way or another, but we can all call or email and support or oppose any bill and hopefully our legislators will listen to us.

When the world court starts holding trials for our Agents, Officers, Soldiers, and citizens is a day we all need to worry about, and that is a more probable with our current president than it was with any of our past presidents. I doubt if they were tried at the Hague the president would have been able to do anything for them. God bless the people that defend this country and its borders, being under a microscope sucks when it seems everyone in the media and other countries can't wait to condemn them for doing their job, and truly doing something wrong at their job for whatever reason only makes it 100 times worse for them.

I think the bill is being ammended and will be re-introduced with a little change to the wording, the commission will still probably vote against it because it limits them in some ways. A bill like this would try to ensure that sportsmen and women were on the commission, at least the majority would be. I would hope with our current Governor we will not have to worry about that, but if that changes it would make it harder to get people on the commission that are not hunters and/or fisherman.

Not much longer to have your opinion heard on this before they end the public comments. I have heard from one commissioner that he has received more response on this subject than any other during his tenure. I wish we would have had that kind of response when they changed the hunt structures years ago, and threw out the ADA survey and recommendations. Let yourself be heard either way, but just think what might be next, this is part of some survey data that another one of the commissioners emailed me. "nation wide survey conducted by Responsive Management and The National Shooting Sports Foundation.* In this project the authors found that 78% (WOW) of all adult Americans, nationwide, approve of hunting, whether they participate in our tradition or not. Of that same group (all adult Americans), 69% opposed hunting using high tech gear, 59% opposed hunting over bait, and 50% opposed hunting using special scents that attract game."

New York's New senator I wonder how this will play out, I already see the media attack dogs readying for the kill and she is a democrat. I don't know enough about her to say it was a good or bad choice, but one issue and she is already contested by one of her own.

After all the stuff said about this issue in a topic earlier, I ended up getting one in the town of Prescott Valley. The camera flashed and we all thought that I just got a ticket for doing 26 in a 15, but it was a Saturday. When I drove back by later in the day we seen the posted speed was 25 which I thought, and there were no school zones any where around there. A short time later I received the ticket in the mail, then I was served because I did not respond as the ticket stated, I didn't read that part and planned on fighting it from day one. I showed up at court on the date scheduled, pleaded not responsible and was given a trial date, that was today. I had traffic school still available to me and had made my second trip to PV just for this ticket. I had done a lot of research on this and watched as the people before me tried every defense possible to get out of these (there were probably twenty in the court room), the first guy said he was a nuclear scientist of some sort and worked for the Navy, I didn't understand hardly anything he said in his defense and that was about thirty minutes or so, it sounded like he knew what he was talking about although I don't think anyone else in the courtroom did including the redflex camera representative, it didn't matter he was found responsible and had to pay, the next few as well. Then a funny thing happened, the officer that was part of the prosecution walked back to me sitting in the courtroom and told me he was going to get my case dismissed, no reason, when the judge called me forward the officer stated to the judge that he had no case and my charge was dismissed. Before the court was in session they showed us their evidence against us and mine looked the same as everyone elses. Truthfully I didn't care, in my book justice was served. I would love to know the reason behind my dismissal, whether it was them trying to speed the day up, something wrong on the paperwork, or it was just my lucky day. Anyone else have any stories from photo court. This is the first time I ever went to fight a citation, hopefully with our new Governor, and a few people in the legislature that are trying to get rid of these no one else will have to deal with this.

When the team reaches the Super Bowl I don't know if it's time to start looking to free up money for new players without getting equal value, Boldin is very well liked in the locker room by players and coaches, he leaves everything on the field, and is one of the top ten receivers in the league, maybe even the top five. He ddin't let his contract become an issue during the season at all, I hope they keep him but if they don't they need to get a high first round pick for him even if they have to package another pick with him to get it since we will be picking at the bottom of each round. A team can release a player at any time and the only thing guaranteed is their signing bonus, basketball has the only guaranteed contracts. I feel that if you sign the contract you need to honor it, but there are a lot of people that say that and have never been in that situation. If and when people find out co-workers salaries and see someone in the same position making way more they usually get pissed, that is why that stuff is pretty much kept quiet, but these guys have their wages made public and that creates most of the problems, if players salaries were kept between the team and the player there wouldn't be near as much trouble as there is today. As far as taxation without representation goes I think this qualifies, I can't remember ever voting for this, this is one of our ex-governor's pet projects. Our new Governor does not seem to thrilled with these, she even responded to my email in one day, game and fish issues and a p.s. about the cameras and a one day response time, our old governor never answered one of my emails, not one, and that was before I added mister to her title. Maybe these cameras can be sold to homeland security, they can put them up and down the border, set them at one mile an hour, then they can monitor who is coming across, she won't care but at least the cameras will be used. Pinal is taking theirs down, the sheriff said he is not a tax collector, he said they don't catch drunk drivers and other criminals, he is going to hire more deputies, what a concept hire more cops and allow them to do their jobs, and hopefully protect the public. A new Boston Tea Party would have been something to see or be a part of, thousands and thousands of Americans rallied together and ripping those cameras out of the ground, it worked in the late 1700's and those people were considered heroes.

Boldin said he tried to get out of there quickly because of what happened on the field, he didn't want anything taken away from the team for what he said happened in the heat of the moment. I can't blame him too much since he is a competitor, no one is bringing up the argument that Warner and Haley had early in the game, nor the one between Rolle and Wilson. I e-mailed mine and received responses from two commissioners. My letter was pretty short and stated my position to oppose the ban. Everyone needs to let the commissioner's know how they feel.

I did have a sticker on the vehicle I took to the courthouse, and I didn't have one on the vehicle the ticket was processed for. They probably wouldn't even have sent me the ticket if I had one on that vehicle. Lesson Learned

The funds for these hunts are supposed to be in special accounts that makes it almost impossible for it to be taken by the legislature in their raids. It is a good way to get money for improvements in our big game habitat, now we have the super raffle which we all have a chance to win, and this year the ADA is going to raffle off a Coues deer tag.

With the new rules will mouse traps be illegal.
