No guide required for the Coues hunts unless you have the R100 tag and want to hunt in R100. No trophy fees for the rifle Malay elk hunt, biggest bulls killed on that hunt are in the high 380s. $5,000 trophy fee for the archery Malay gap hunt if you kill a bull gross scoring 400"+, only 1 bull has ever grossed over 400" on this hunt, 407", most bulls avg 340-380s on this hunt. Lottery opened yesterday and will close on January 28th, 2017 with the drawing held on February 1st, 2017. $26 app fee, one entry per person per hunt. NOV Coues Deer: November 18-26, 2017. JAN Coues Deer: 1st hunt Dec. 30, 2017 - January 5, 2018. 2nd hunt Jan. 6 - 12, 2018. 3rd hunt Jan. 13 - 19, 2018. R-100/C hunt December 30, 2017 - January 19, 2018. Here's a similar hard horned bull from last year, i think we were guessing him around upper 370's, definitely bulls full of character. DAN

This is from July 9th, this buck was 105" class last year with double forked g2's. DAN

There have been a few regulars taking advantage of the fishing for the last 2 months or so, no reports of vandalism from them or others camped in the area, some high traffic during the middle of some days from locals swimming and Rangers do have a regular patrol in the area now as well. DAN
