Why not use formaldehyde with correct safety precautions? I've done it many times. In order to freeze dry them they would have to be professionally done or kept in a freezer for a year. Ed F

Thanks for all the compliments and inquiries. No measurements yet. My biggest bear so far. Skull went into my bug box yesterday... won't be long. If anyone wants help getting their wife to stop yelling at them for keeping all of their stinky skulls in their freezer, I have a dermisted beetle colony and can clean them up for you. Ed F

The handle was pulled years ago and now its circling the drain.... I was fortunate to leave Ca last year and I cannot believe what I'm seeing. I still have a lot of family there and honestly cannot stand to go back, the stress fills my body. Bruce.... do it for your family... If it were any year other than this year, id go to kodiak with you. Ive been trying for years to get someone to go with me, but no one will ever commit. I've been five times.... my favorite place on the planet. After several mild winters it should be fantastic. Ed F

I put all my eggs in one basket and thought I'd draw Wyoming elk.... and I didn't. Hunting moose in Alaska next year so I won't put in for Az again until 2018. Then I'm gonna have to deal with Wyoming again. I'm kinda sick over it right now. The first time in a long time that I don't have my season planned out. I might have to jump on a plane and hunt Kodiak.... Ed F

Thanks. I called Bull Basin and they said it was just a rumor. He has the plates and handles but no heads. I have one head and am stuck with running two tripods. I'll keep looking. Thanks for your help. Ed

My first time... thought it was pretty cool. I really was intrested in the taxidermy competition display. I joined the Arizona Taxidermy Association and sat in on a 3 1/2 hour seminar. I wish it would have been longer.... Ed F
