    Squeaky Polaris Ranger

A while ago I posted having a constant problem with my Ranger squeaking and Polaris telling me there was nothing they could do. Greasing was only a temporary fix. The squeak was annoying and it was all I could focus on when riding. After a lot of research I was turned on to Super Dave's Bushings. I called ordered new bushings and after about 350.00 for front and back bushings I completed the replacement process. Was pretty easy. I would like to report the change was a success. After multiple rides in the dry Arizona desert and Dry dusty Elk hunts there is absolutely no squeak. No more greasing or WD-40. I am sold on the bushings and highly recommend them. I know a few people responded to having the same issue so I hope this helps everyone.

    Successful Elk Season

Finally after 8 years since my last Bull Elk tag I drew a September Archery Tag. My wife and her friend Nadia also drew a late cow Elk Tag. The Rut season was tough but after miles of hiking I got it done and was pleased with my Bull. My wife and her friend Nadia got her done opening day and both dropped their cows within 30 yards of each other. 300 plus yard shots and they both dropped where they stood. It was awesome to watch them get it done within seconds of each other. They also put in the work. While me and my buddy Joe, Nadia's husband did the quartering they packed out the meat and would return for more. After three 1/2 mile trips up and down hills they were exhausted. We all carried out the last cow and did the whole process in record time. It was bitter sweet though because it was over so soon.

    Squeaky Polaris Ranger Bushing

A while back I posted a topic regarding the aggravating squeak I was getting from my 2011 Polaris Ranger 800. It appears anyone with the year 2010 and up have the same issue with squeaky bushings and no one was able to provide a permanent fix as greasing was only temporary. I tried getting solutions from Forums, Mechanics and Even Polaris but no one had any solutions. The funniest one was to get a loud stereo but a lot of good that does when hunting. I decided to take all my bushings out and grease the heck out of them. If it looked dry it received grease. I was pretty excited when the squeak went away but after a few hunts in the dry desert the squeak returned. I decided to give forums another shot and read one POST where an individual suggested Super Dave's Bushings as their bushings fixed his problem. I looked up the website Superdaves.com and noticed they primarily have parts for Razors but had selective parts for Rangers so I had to call. Luckily they did carry the bushings for my Ranger. I asked the representative if these bushings would get rid of my squeak and without hesitation he said "absolutely". So without hesitation I ordered the front and rear bushing kit which after shipping and handling was about $350.00. I installed the bushings today which took me a few hours but was easy to do. Once complete the squeak was completely gone. Now I know it might be premature but I took it for spin in the desert and still no squeak. The true test will be after a few hunts. I will give an update after my Bull Elk hunt in September and my wife's cow hunt in December but it looks promising as I added no grease. I tried posting a video but for some reason I was unable. I hope this helps a lot of people with the same problem. Again, I will give an update at a later time.

    Do rage broadheads suck?

Yes and No. I used to use the Rage and it worked great on my Javelina. I hit a buck on another hunt great shot in the shoulder and never picked up blood. I had a visual on the buck from 30 to 80 yards just could not see the blood but could see the arrow. I quit using them because I got tired of the blades falling on stalks. I use the Gravediggers now and love them. They are similar set up to the Rage but they hold their fixed position until impact.

    Reflex highlander by hoyt

Who ever bought this bow is going to enjoy. I bought the same one years ago as my first bow and recently upgraded to a PSE, however I am still keeping mine as a back up as it has been good to me.

    Unit 21 bulls

Yep, I'm one of the buddies who helped Buglethemin. Will be one of those hunts to talk about for years to come. It was a rough pack out. Well worth it though. Can't wait we both drew archery Bull tags this year and wives drew rifle cow tags. Hopefully will have a packed freezer.

Can Someone Please Explain This To Me?

Well those eastern states also do pretty much nothing but tree stands so they really don't need radios. Welcome to spot and stalk.

    Squeaky Polaris Ranger

Thanks for the responses. As far as the bed latches I already fixed that problem. That was a different kind of squeak, one in which I could deal with. I have already pin pointed the bushing issue and location. It is just the fact the grease does not last due to the constant rubbing and eventually rubs dry creating the noise. I am going to take your advise 125 coues. I have a few more months on my warranty and am going to take it in for check up so repairs can be conducted under the warranty. But as soon as the warranty is up I will be looking for other solutions. Thanks everyone for input.

    Squeaky Polaris Ranger

Okay fellow Coues White tail members. I already received one response to my question but was hoping for others input or solutions. I have a 2010 Polaris Ranger which I purchased brand new. Now first of all I love the thing with the exception of one issue. The squeaky bushings. The squeak started immediately after getting home and riding in the desert for a few hours. I took it back to Polaris who stated it was just probably bad bushing from sitting in the warehouse and drying out so they replaced them. But again they began to squeak. Now this is not a little squeak it is down right annoying and loud. After several heated discussions with Polaris and even going to corporate there has been no solution. I tried going onto forums where the only solution was to install a loud radio. Obviously not a solution while hunting. Now I considered going to the brand new model only to find out my buddies 2014 is doing the same thing. I have another buddy with a 2007 model which is Silent not even a rattle. So obviously newer is not better. I did realize when going through water the noise would go away for a while so I tried some spray lube which would work for a very short time. I eventually took everything apart and greased everything even things that probably did not need it but if it was dry it received grease. I thought this was the fix. The squeak was gone for about two hunts but after riding the other day it returned. I don't want to have to break it down every time to add grease as the area squeaking does not have enough gap to squeeze it in. Does anyone have a full time solution.

    2" lift for polaris ranger

I might be interested but I have an off the wall question. I also have a 2010 Ranger. By chance do you have that drive me crazy squeak coming from the bushing. Polaris cannot or will not fix it. I have taken everything apart and greased but has only been a temporary fix. I have been on forums and know other buddies with the same issue. It seems to only happen to the 2010 and newer models. Just trying to find someone with a full time fix.
