Whitey, sorry, I honestly cannot remember what string I put on it, but I definitely did not skimp. I'm in Atlanta on business and will see if Ross Outdoors can tell me. As for selling it bare, yes, I'd do that. However, I think your better off just making me an offer if you want it. I see the bow as carrying all the value here. Oh, and yes, it is the original PSE which is a great bow.

Sent you a private message.

Where are you located, I'm interested.

Nice work on those. If you live in Avondale, drive over to 59th Avenue and VanBuren to Ross Outdoors and ask them to stock them for you. There's a chance that could happen as you did a real nice job with a very useful item.

I've never hunted up there and I'm just a layperson on this topic. But, I followed these guys and their success in 2011 and I find it hard to believe they aren't worth putting on your list for research http://www.yavapaioutfitters.com/category/hunt-reports/page/2/

I've got that exact gun. It's a great gun and the two clips are worth $50 alone.

Price reduced! New in box Vortex Razor HD 5-20X50 Riflescope

This guy is trying to sell $2700 worth of equipment for $2000. Why on Earth would you bash him???? He's doing the site a major favor. If you haven't noticed, this site gets more traffic in classified ads than any other sections; hands down. That leads to more exposure to CWT.com which leads to better positioning for the site owner. So ease up on a guy posting a great deal to just the right crowd of people. -
I have that exact bow and it is a great shooter; especially for that price.

That is so cool; the story, the family, the broadhead, and the really gorgeous buck! Congratulations!

I have the regular Viper 15x50s (not HD). I like them, don't love them. I like the size and the price a lot. Also, I just got done with 3 days of glassing intensely and did not get eye fatigue at all. But, the clarity is just not near the Swaros my pals had. I've found a lot of game with them exclusively on a tripod and feel they serve the purpose I needed without breaking the bank or making me all cautious in the field.

All I've got to say is that you do not need to spend $110 per dozen to get a straight, nice flying arrow. I've used Radial x Weaves for a while and they fly great at distance and hold up well. Paid $80 give or take per dozen.

Great story and great perspective. This illustrates my greatest issue with long shots in the wind. It's not the arrow flight to me, it's the total inability to hold the bow steady (even if I kneel to stay low.) This narrows my effective shooting distance in half or down to 40 or less, which in turn makes the wind effect on arrow flight not an issue really. Wind is tough stuff!!!

Nice work, and great persistence over the past few weeks. I have been following your other posts too.

Just to clarify my post, one definition of ignorance is 'lack of awareness'. My guess is he was ignorant ( unaware) to the fact they were jumping ducks nit quail.

+1 The question was rude or ignorant. I'm betting ignorant. Rarely do I think of people jumping ducks right near a road and I might have been completely oblivious to it all.

You are absolutely correct, score doesn't matter. Congratulations on a MONSTER. However, I bet you are at least a little happier than if you got a spike. -
Thanks! Thats darn good data! But, gotta hope for some rut action heating up quick for these last few days. Best of luck to all.
-
Great report, thanks! and good luck.

I've been out 5 out of last 6 days. I've seen does and bucks pretty often. BUT, never together. The bucks have been solo.

Tell me where it is and I'll go take a look for ya....

This is an excellent website to check out careers, training requirements, compensation, etc. http://www.mynextmove.org/ FYI.

To all of you buying a Little Bitty Goose, I love that release and recommend it. Especially for such a great price. But, don't tighten the screw down too hard when you adjust them down on the strap when changing length. I've popped the head right off without much force and it got me stuck without my release until Scott sent new screws. The Allen wrench provides more torque than I realized and that screw ripped right in half.

Wow, what a nice looking buck. Congrats!

I saw it as $5150. Doh! -
I found this to be a fascinating story. So many sightings at so many different times. Wow! Congratulations and sounds like you put some good time in too.
