Many of our family's first deers were taken between 50-500 yards from I-10. We would camp 300 yards from it. 99% of the other hunters would drive right by us all morning and late in the evening after a long day of hunting "way in there" I know of a monster muley that was taken within 100 yards of a three way intersection of three WELL known units. He was pushed from his bed. He probably liived out many-o-seasons there.

My timberland leather belt that I used for everything including hunting just gave out after 15+ years. Now I am making just tad over minimum wage, finally, so I was able to buy a dedicated hunting belt. I bought a Blackhawk from wally world. Seams stout enough to tow a truck with. More D

GAP insurance pays for the difference in value compared to amount owed. Example. .. My 2015 Ranger Crew that was 3 months old was totaled and because I did NOT have GAP insurance it have to pay $800-$1200 to walk away from the loan because it was not worth what I owed on it. $800-$1200 is not the worst part....... Having to go through all the insurance B.S. means I will not have my Ranger for my up coming Bull hunt. At the time of purchase the GAP was $750 which is why I passed on it. The $40 to $450 more I have to pay now is not fun but not as bad as not having a Ranger. Our tags, 3 for our family, was the only reason we bought it to begin with. More D

I need to send a pair of binoculars to vortex for an adjustment. I think they were dropped because I cannot get them to focus. I am betting they are not aligned. I am jus worried that I might not get them back in time for the October/November hunts. Thanks, More D

Indeed. I called Monday morning as suggested. A very nice gentleman answered. I explained that I was leaving for my hunt on Thursday. He said "OK, I am going to change the shipping to overnight and put your binoculars in the techs hands right now" I followed up with a call on Wednesday at 3:40pm and the lady said "they are done and packed and waiting for FedEx to pick up today" They arrived to my house Thursday at 12:45, two hours before I left. I was happy to say the least. More D

I made 9 trips to the range and tried 14+ combinations before finding the right one for my MZ. That said .... What you wanted it to like (bullet, powder, primer, etc) will NOT be what she likes. It is nice once you find it but costly and time consuming for sure. More D -
Found one at my front door waiting for me to come home. Seems like we get one every year waiting like that. My wife screaming out loud and me on the inside. I hate snakes..... More D

While it does indeed happen, they all do not end up in Mexico. I assumed the same when my truck was stolen when I was just out of high school. It was found less than one mile from my house. Glad to hear that you got her back.

Interesting tread. ... Some years ago my brother gave me a Marlin 1895 in 44mag for my birthday. Out of sheer coincidence it was produced the same year that I was born 1974. Special to me to say the least. I too have taken out on Javelina hunts but no luck connecting yet. A rifle Elk tag would be the ticket to complete the dream but I have never had one of those. .......
